Jack, Nick, and Cheshire along with their pets have made their way to the temple. All of them were exhausted and had numerous cuts, bruises, and small wounds covering their bodies. Even Sher Khan and Chaos had blood coming from wounds covering their bodies.

Chaos was favoring his right paw. A hunter set a trap and he stepped right into the trap. Jack tended to his injured paw, but it still bothered him.
Samson was resting on Nick’s arm as they stood inside the temple. They spotted a gem hovering over a pit in midair. The pit was to big to jump across.

Having gained a new perspective on life, she quickly comes to a rather horrifying conclusion: she's been a complete and utter brat! No wonder everyone hates her!

And then there's the fact that she's apparently been reincarnated as the villainess of Tower Conquest, a lesbian porn game with a surprisingly intricate plot. One in which the Heroine conquers Dimona Tower, turning Devilla's people against her in the process. In victory, the Heroine brings about a glorious age of peace between demons and humans for the first time in millennia. ...Which actually sounds pretty good for her people, come to think of it. Devilla knows her terrible behavior is beyond forgiveness, but maybe she can still make up for her past mistakes? She just needs to make sure the events of the game unfold correctly. Though there is one little detail she'd like to change - the part where Devilla herself is killed or enslaved!

A friend once said that his smile made it seem like he saw the whole world as a joke to which only he knew the punch line.

And it’s true. Until yesterday, Bishop’s life was everything he could hope for, and the smile was his way of acknowledging how things had always seemed to fall his way. But not tonight. Rob and Paul had been friends for many years, they had been to college together, had at one time worked together, but mostly they just spent time with each other, going to a match, going to the gym, spending a weekend walking in the hills. Just fairly ordinary pursuits, for a couple of blokes. They also went on holiday together, this was usually an activity holiday, skiing, sailing, surfing, cycling, whatever took there fancy and they had not done before.
