Thank You ! Number 50!!!

I randomly check my 'Stories' page just to see if anyone's interested in my very short, VERY infrequent postings.;0 Whoever gave me the 50th kudo on 'Life Drawing 101', Thank YOU!!! That's a milestone for me.;)

It's been sitting at 49 for many months. Probably since the first!;0

It's just further proof of why I'm here and consider this place my home and my family.;D

Now get your minds outta the gutter!!! Those who can't need some serious self analysis. Others I'll let slide. I know who both of You are!(Giggles)

As some here know I'd been outta work for waaaaaaaaaaay too long. I'm happy to report that that's no longer the case.;) Though my mortgage company is undoubtedly elated, I miss all of you and your stories terribly! My comments and PMs are gonna be sparse for a time, but I've got a new puter to keep me in touch and upgrade my employment status.;) I'll talk to all of you when I can.

I Hate to Cut My Hair!!!

I had two years worth of luscious locks going. It was halfway down my spine.

Sadly, I've been out of work for almost as long. I've got what looks to be a great opportunity coming up. Sadly, I can't even consider going for the job with my lovely coif. Eighteen inches of thick, curly, chestnut hair has been donated to those who might need it more than me.

I just hope it brings as much joy to the new wearers.;)

Has Anyone Heard From Zoe Taylor?

I know Zoe's taken breaks before. I'm just a bit more than worried.;0

She's a dear friend.

One of the few people I share my Love for music with. Not sure why? It's just one of those 'connection' things.

If anybody has some contact info, it'd be greatly appreciated!!!

Ummmmm......

Ummmm,... Do You Love Me?

I'm fairly sure of your answer.
Just the prospect of it completely freaks me out!

I've been dreading the answer to that question since I was born.
Even though I didn't realize the question had to be asked.

I do Love You.
I Always Will!!!

Forever and Always,
Your Jonelle

Dear Mom,

Dear Mom,By Jonelle-Elise copyright 2011

I wrote to Dad, I know he's been gone for years.

It just seemed easier that way. It's not quite that easy with you. You're still here; actually you're right here under my roof!

That doesn't seem to matter.
You're my Mom.
That seems to carry more weight than it should.

I'm your caretaker now.
I know you don't like that;
Neither do I.

I'm not sure I can handle it.

Has Anybody Heard From Zoe Taylor?

Hi Everyone,

I'm just really concerned about Zoe. I know She was having doubts about who She was and where She was headed. There are so many of us that have similar concerns.

I've thought of Her as a dear friend for quite some time. I know that many of You have too. If anybody has heard from Her, or has any contact info; I'd appreciate it greatly if You could pass it along in a PM. (I'm talking to you Tychonaut!)

If You feel the need to pass it by Her first; feel free. I'm pretty sure She'll be amenable.

Love And Hugs,
Jonelle-Elise(Always Bailey's Cuter Half!) ;)

Dear Dad,

Dear Dad,
by Jonelle

I'm really not sure what to say here, I just know I've got to say it. You've been gone since I was ten. You've been physically gone since I was three.

Why should it even matter?

Somehow, it does.

It doesn't matter that you're gone.
It doesn't matter that you were never really here.
The only thing that matters is that you know me.
Not the 'me' that everyone thought they knew, but the 'Real' me.

I'm your other daughter. The one nobody knew about.
It's not like I'm a 'bastard' child.
I'm just the one that nobody knew.

You and Mom were legally united.

Dear Jack,

I know you've always been there for me, to protect me and keep me safe from harm. I do appreciate it, I really do. It's just that I've had enough. I can't take it any more. It's way beyond time for me to have my own life. To seek the kind of happiness you've had so many years to find for yourself.

You've failed miserably, repeatedly.

It's long passed time for me to have a shot.

Life Drawing 101

Life Drawing 101

by Jonelle

It was my first semester in the Art Department. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of drawing naked people, it really wasn't what I had in mind when I changed my major from Biochem.

I just thought I'd be able to draw some pretty pictures, and get away from all the formulae and math that I had no further tolerance for.

Don't get me wrong. I've always been a bit of a science geek. Astrophysics, sub-atomic particles; muons, nuons, quarks and the like have always fascinated me. Biology was just second nature though.

My brother's acting like an A** hole! What should I do? Serious Rant!

This is so hard! Ontop of everything else, I just don't know what to do.

Mom went into my Brother's room awhile ago to get batteries so She could check my blood-pressure. She was concerned about the effect of my new antidepressants, as was I. Well, the pressure was O.K.,(though on the very low side), but a few minutes later my Brother came storming out of his room and slammed a bunch of batteries down on the table.

He was screaming about getting his own place as soon as he could.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

I just can't say that enough!!! I'm stunned, shocked, and amazed by the response to my first story here.

To all that took a chance and read a post by a 'newbie', to those who posted comments, and especially to the ones that sent all of the wonderful PMs, I can't possibly Thank You Enough!

I know that the story is incomplete (so far), and that fact alone can dissuade some from venturing further. With the amount of support, compassion, and understanding that I've recieved I'm more confident than ever that I'll be able to share the rest with all of you.

Scouts Halloween Party or (my first time 'out')

I wasn't crazy about the idea, but my sister had a way of talking anyone into doing anything. She often had me doing things that I was more than a bit apprehensive about.

She got me to dance, which I considered to be more than a little bit 'Girly'. She'd play Mom's old 45's. The 'Big Bopper', Buddy Holly, Hell, even 'Kookie' Ed Byrnes! from "77 Sunset Strip". She had this entire routine choreographed to "Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb". It was Hilarious!!!
