This story is very loosely based on the Car Wars game universe by Steve Jackson Games.

The year is 2061. Global war has reduced the government to a shadow of what it once was. Individual cities handle most of the governing of the land, with the areas between cities lawless and wild. Travel between cities is fraught with danger, leading to vehicles being outfitted with armor and weapons for the journey. Most travel is done in convoys for safety. But these armed and armored vehicles have led to a new sport; auto dueling. A vicious and bloody sport, where the loser often loses their life along with their car. But new technology means that death in the arena is not necessarily permanent. But for some it is much more inconvenient than others...

After reading AoifeM's latest Wyld chapter and reviewing the Wyld Universe Rules Page I realized I goofed! I'd mentioned somewhere, probably in one of the 'Wyld Conversation' blogs, that Wyld transformations are instantaneous. They are also supposed to be without pain and usually accompanied by a flash of light. I totally forgot to include that in the rules page, so I've now added it under rule #9. Last time...
"Your honor, I believe there is a bit more to this recording that might help to clear things up for everyone." Mr. Darvin said. The judge gave him the go ahead to play the rest of the recording. Aunt Karen looked smug, probably figuring she'd won. She even glared at me with a smile, which was a weird combination if you ask me. But the smile went away fast!

On the recording I was watching aunt Karen leave the room. I waited for a few seconds and then dropped the doll and ran up to the camera, "If anybody sees this, please help me! She made me say all that stuff, and wear these clothes. I don't want to be a girl, I like being a guy! Look what she did!" In the recording I pulled my dress up so you could see all the bruises on my stomach and chest. They were pretty ugly looking, worse than I realized, really. I pulled it down real quick and look to make sure aunt Karen wasn't there before continuing.

"My aunt is crazy! Please, if anybody sees this, GET ME OUT OF HERE!" I said in the recording.
