This story was inspired by KT Leone's story "The Christmas Conversation." I found the story charming, but couldn't really believe the pastor's instant conversion from seeing the trans girl's desire to be a girl as a sin to accepting her. This is my attempt to imagine how a pastor from a conservative Christian tradition might come to see that it was not only not a sin, but how God wanted her to be.

When my mother died and my father, someone that I had never met in my life, proposed to take me in, I actually believed that I was going to live with him. That of course wasn’t going to happen. That man, without even meeting me once, was sending me to a boarding school - a boarding school that apparently didn’t even know my name or gender, because in the letter they sent me to tell me I was accepted, they kept referring me as Miss Brooke Falconer.
That was completely ridiculous, I mean, I was Brook Woods, a tough (yet slightly short) guy!
There are only 20 days left in December and a few from here before the contest closes on December 20th, 2024. I have been tossing out past Christmas stories daily in the hopes it might inspire some thought for an entry. I have begged for entries, shown potential entries and entries from the past with the BigCloset Retro Classic Christmas Specials.

As I walked home from school, I rubbed my ribs.
David Barnes had kicked me there just outside the school gates.
He often waited for me before school and took my dinner money from me
when he knew that no one could see him do the dirty deed.
There were only a few things in Harry Potter's life that never changed, he was the son of Lily and James Potter and that he was born a male. What happens when he discovers the truth?

Alex spent his entire life working towards the goal of becoming a woman - from schooling to job.
And now, just before surgery, his family gets in the way!
As I rounded the corner and walked towards my cubicle I felt as if I was being watched. Not unusual, you’re thinking, because people always watch people, especially as they come to work. Well, in my case I ceased to be watched just after being hired. That was three long hard years ago. I kept to myself, did my work and talked to no one about anything other than work.

"Hey, Jeffrey, what's this mp3 Shambleau? It's the only thing that sounds mysterious."
"Classic science fiction - a cautionary tale, which, Susie, I've duly noted. Great to listen to in bed with the lights out."
"What else do you like to do in bed with the lights out, Jeffrey?"
"Well, best of all, I like to drift off to the Shipping Forecast - read by one of the female announcers."
Sophie Deems is a seventeen-year-old waitress in a small town in the middle of nowhere, just trying to get along ... or is she? A visit from a woman in a silver Aston Martin pulls her past into her present, and makes her wonder if she can ever move on — or even if she want to.
It’s that time of year, when schools let out and summer begins–
and it’s obligatory to write a Summer Camp story, right?
Here’s a short one with some altered chords …
"I know who you are" he said, "and what's more, you still look just terrific as a woman, but you already knew that, didn't you?"
"Who am I then?"
"You're Tom of course" he said lightly, "but we'll forget that for tonight, because right now, you're Kathy!"
I guess I shouldn't have been shocked that he knew who I was, but he was acting as if it was the most normal thing in the world for me to be dressed as a woman, then kept insisting that I was beautiful! I thought about reminding him who and what I was one more time, but swallowed that idea when he asked me to dance again! Just being polite, I let him lead me to the dance floor once again.
"If I asked you" he said, "would you go out with me?"
"Knowing who I am, you're asking me out on a date? Are you nuts?"
“Hey squirt!” his father called as he walked by the kitchen, “how was school?”
“Horrible. As usual.” Was Rays disgruntled response as he turned to look at his father.
Jameson frowned, looking up from the newspaper. “I’m sorry to hear that son. Do you want to talk about it?”
“No, it’s fine.” Sighed Ray.
He continued towards his room.
“Don’t forget!” Called his father, “report cards came in today. We’ll be discussing them at dinner tonight.”
Back in his room Ray collapsed on his bed. How could he have forgotten? He had been dreading it all week. It was just another chance for him to be compared to his perfect brother and his perfect sister. The two of them were constantly making the honor roll, a list of students who had achieved either a B+ average or better. Something that never happened for Raymond. Inevitably he would be lectured by the whole family tonight.
He knew exactly how the conversation would go. Depending on how poorly he did he may even be grounded for a few weeks. All of his inhibitions and self-loathing came bubbling to the surface. The tears he seemed to have been holding back all day finally overwhelmed him. He laid in bed crying quietly, feeling more trapped then usual.
“Give her room!” one of the coaches yell out.
“She’s not moving.” Mutters one girl, Ellie, I think is her name.
“Try not to move her!”, That might have been Dianna.
“Oh S**t!”, that’s me…I'm trying to hide the air horn.
Another BigCloset TopShelf story, and my first ever completed TG tale. Jack's early-morning trip to the supermarket winds up a textbook example of why there truly is "no such thing as a free lunch." A cautionary tale about not being able to read the fine print in a verbal contract, and the dangers of a free demon-stration...
One of the only real femme things is my face…I’m a strawberry blonde so kind of baby faced and I keep my hair long…but the rest of me is…I’m five ten, one seventy almost and got too much size…too much shoulder from working as a contractors helper for my step dad.
I hate my body.
And not really looking like a girl gave people plenty of ammo at school to make my life hell. Pushed, shoved, kicked from behind…spit on. Getting yelled at and accosted by the preachy kids, prank calls, online torture…then the last straw was getting jumped by a crowd of kids…I was lucky some good Samaritan had showed up with a baseball bat. But the teachers didn’t do a thing with the stuff in school and the cops with the swarming attack…
Synopsis: As a young boy nineteen years ago, Cindy was the victim of a serial child molester. Now the man who did it is about to be released from prison. What does she intend to do about him; and how is she coping?
This is a stylistic change from my previous writings, a darker, leaner story. You've been warned! Parts of this story are autobiographical.
Story: This story deals with the continuing mental trauma of a victim of child molestation. While there are no depictions of child molestation, there are flashbacks that contain some details. If this sort of thing is upsetting to you, please do not read this story. All the people in this story are fictional, except for the sexual predator that started it all, may his soul rot in hell. KJT

Hi.
Okay, sit down. I hope you are, because I’ve never written a letter quite like this in my life. I need you to try and read this all the way through before you judge me. It’s going to be weird and hard to accept or understand, but I HAVE to do this, for my own sanity, although you’re going to doubt I have any...
Apprehension is running rampant, with many of us sweating from the effort of considering the Colonel’s cryptic remarks, rather than from the heat which, so far today, isn’t too bad. The phone rings again and now I am taken from the room. I’m uncertain if I am more anxious or relieved. The sergeant shows me into a room with a large table and six men seated around one end of it. The Colonel is there, of course, as is the Major who left our waiting room with him. There is a one-star seated at the end of the table and three men in civilian clothes. The stakes seem to have been increased. I’m beginning to think I’m the one who has gone through the looking glass, I certainly don’t remember following a white rabbit with a watch.
The tale of a rough and rowdy boy out of control who finally drove his desperate mother to trick and outsmart him, with the help of her friend, and showed him a future of living life as the opposite sex and along the way to learn a better way to be.
This story has controversial content containing
mind manipulation that some may find troubling.
If you do have problems with it, then this story is not for you.
This story, despite that, has a unique theme that
does deserve a reading and caused me to think
hard about the issues within...
which is why I retroed this. ~Sephrena.
Jessie was a friend,
Yeah I know he was a good friend of mine.
But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define:
Jessie's turned into a girl and I want to make her mine.
As she's watching me with those eyes,
she could be loving me with that body, I just know it.
Wish I was holding her in my arms late, late at night.
You know, I wish that I had Jessie as a girl,
I wish that she was Jason's girl!
How'd she become a woman like that?
(Apologies to Rick Springfield) ~Jennifer Brock. (Part 39 comment)
Many important moments in our lives pass unmarked by solemn ceremonies or other rights of passage, such as weddings, graduations, and funerals. Usually, they are far more fleeting, passing almost unnoticed. Even so, and how ever brief, they are often the very moments that define us as who and what we are; and just as importantly, who and what our friends are. This story is a collection of a few such moments, like steppingstones through time, in the life of a very special person named Emily.
When my father first met Gina, I was pleased. He had been down in the dumps for months.
Gina made him happy and that made me like her. Later, I developed a different view,
but mostly because of the things that happened to me.
Trying to find his new home in the pouring rain, Bobby winds up falling into a mud puddle and is soaked from head to toe. A neighbor girl offers to takes Bobby home, where his rainy day adventure begins.

Estrogen had taken possession of her body and testosterone was in frantic retreat, if not final surrender. She had curves, breasts, and luxurious blond hair. Her cheekbones were high and her painted lips were full. Undeniably, there were ever so slight traces of maleness in her, but it actually added to her charm and made her appear exotic or beguiling. She was wearing a coral suit with a long skirt and wrap jacket with Princess seams. Her matching handbag was large and just right. Her pumps were of snake-print design and with dress soles and two-inch heels. This young lady was a class act!
When a family goes into hiding within the FBI's witness protection program while
awaiting to testify at the trial of a dangerous criminal, they soon find out that
this criminal's friends are desperate and have a long reach. An equally desperate
measure was undertaken to ensure that their family becomes untraceable.
So to complete their new identities and family image, one of Steve Wilson's two young boys had to become a girl!
I dedicate this Retro Classic to the author of this story - my close friend and surrogate father, Arecee, who passed away at the beginning of 2016. May your soul find a new and much more enriched and fulfilling life, just the way you would like it. With all of my heart and love...and until we meet again... Sephrena.
Micheal Carols, a police detective in the near future runs into a problem while alone at a crime scene. Having been stunned into unconsciousness from behind, he wakes up in a strange woman’s body. Still on the crime scene, he is arrested for interfering with a crime scene as well as being a prime suspect in the theft of some experimental software from the crime scene.
The real owner of the body he is trapped in makes off with his police credentials and system access (coded to retinal scan, voice and thumbprint) and stirs up trouble for him. His best chance is the help of a female jail inmate that knew the original body’s inhabitant and a detective he barely knows.
As we travelled along in the car, I wondered what would become of me.
I thought back two weeks ago and remembered with horror when I
found out that my parents had died coming back from a new year’s
party. It was 1969 when they left and it was now 1970.
With his life and family destroyed, Richard finds hope
