Well still around for those following Lost in the Mists. I took Bronwen's advice and decided to write the rest of it in one fell swoop. While I have found it has helped to do so to keep continuity, it does cause problems when I when ideas pop into my head and I have to go back and add them in :) But as I am trying to have a happy ending, let's face it who doesn't want one no matter the circumstance. I have written myself into a corner and trying to find away out. But once I do there is only a chapter and half left to be written.

Posting Help

Is there a list of color codes that can be used on this site? I have need to use two different colors but when I try using the html codes for color they won't change and I noticed that an abbreviated version is used here. I can't find anything to help me figure that out. Also what font is the default for stories as I am thinking of using it instead of what I do when I write.
Thanks
Fiona

Question for those following my story

As I can't sleep I thought I would get started on the next chapter. But something came to mind so I am going to let you decide. Since Susan has been given this gift of eloquence on speaking French and Gaelic Would you rather see:

A: If she is speaking in either use italics to represent that?

or

B: The actual language with translation?

Well..........

Okay, after 8 years I posted the next chapter of my story. As I mentioned in the teaser section I don’t think my writing has improved any, despite practice along with trial and error nothing seemed to get better. You are probably wondering why such a long time between chapters. Well partially due to my disappointment in my writing, and what seemed to push me to at least try, seemed to have decided to take a vacation in Tahiti, not that I blame it I think I would rather be in Tahiti too at times.

Well better late than never I guess, 8 years since the last chapter was posted. While I don’t think my writing skills have improved any, I did get a recent request to continue this (the only one in 8 years). Why? Well I was told they enjoyed the story. Since I am stuck at home I figured why not. So warts and all, here it is. Please forgive the warts Oh and before I forget I created space for Erin

I lost sight of Andrew and the soldier. I adjusted where I was pointing the pistol towards the officer who was drawing his sword and fired. As the smoke cleared, I saw Andrew coming out of a crouched run quickly batted the soldier’s musket away with his left arm and hacked him with his broadsword. I saw the officer lying dead by the door and fainted.
