All i can remember is a particular scene

Protagonist Ally Burns (Assistant Director of the Agency. i think)

Ally has to deal with a problem at a regional office of the Internet crimes investigation office

the lead agent has lent agents and equipment to other agencies, as he (if i remember correctly) doesn't see the department has a use in the agency.

Also i think there is some resentment as he sees Ally as an affirmative action hire by the Agency.

This story was started with the assistance of Robert Arnold. He was more than just editor; he gave me input on the characters and plot lines. He also honored me by allowing the use of his wonderful character Jen Stevens. Due to Bob’s passing, we were unable to complete the story together. To honor Bob’s memory I decided to finish the story based on the outlines we discussed. He was a great friend and mentor and I will miss him. This story is dedicated to his memory. I just learned the extremely sad news of Bob's passing. I have a very hard time expressing the grief I feel. Bob was a wonderful friend. He was also my editor, but I don't think that editor is an appropriate description of what he did for me. Yes he corrected my mistakes, but more importantly he pushed me as a writer, he made me better, he helped me grow. He also brought me into his world by allowing me the honor of using his wonderful character of Jen Stevens in my stories. I know how protective he was with her.
