Chapter 1 of 3 – Draw

“Hey, Mistress, wait up!” Adam yelled from the dining hall entrance. Evidently he had been distracted by someone or something as we left. I had barely noticed, occupied instead by an increasing number of ideas for what to do with our walk to the library. My original plan had been to have a little harmless fun testing his suggestibility on the way, check out Dr. Mattice’s book once we got there, and try to find a quiet place to complete the conditioning removal procedure. I could send him on his way deprogrammed and none the wiser, no real harm done except taking up some of his evening.

Sasha and Susan’s Mansion, Beverly Hills, California:
Rose couldn’t believe she was giving up a day's worth of work to train with Sasha Wolfhart. She had arrived at six in the morning as Sasha instructed her to. She had called her assistant store manager to handle the store today. She would stop by later after she was done to check the deposit for tomorrow.

I used to say that I could fuck anybody, but it was only supposed to be girls. The fact is that I had a huge sex drive, and it seemed so powerful that it was unhealthy. It was affecting my social life, even with the guys I mixed with. We were all interested in girls, or should I say ‘pussy’ because it was the entrance that shouted at me. The guys would joke about women being meat, but for me that was real. I wanted flesh to fuck.

The music thumped as video began, ushering in a new era of pop.

"Just--" I raised a finger to get her to stop talking if only for a moment. I couldn't understand what she was saying. Or maybe I didn't want to understand, "What are you telling me?" I asked plainly.

"You have been manipulated ever since you stepped foot in King Richard's court" she replied. "I had tried to warn you but I'll admit I could never have known to what extent"

Synopsis
With Rick (now almost fully Yvette) tucked away nicely, our spotlight shifts to the star of the night: our dear Doctor Valentine.

I had pleaded for my parents to do something, anything, as the men gripped my arm firmly and led me away.

"Mum!" I had turned back to scream at her as she cried into my father's arms.

Why weren't they doing anything? Why were they letting these strange men lead me away and for what?

"Nabo, what's going on?" I had turned to my old friend who had been avoiding my gaze.

I had tried to force myself out of their grip with no success. Now, as we approached the shrine and my pleads fell on deaf ears, that same feeling of helplessness began to resurface.

My village was one where superstitions ran wild and unchecked. Even as the rest of the world progressed into the 21st century and turned to science for answers, they remained stuck in the past with their primitive beliefs.

Sophia woke up feeling more refreshed than ever. Her deep and rejuvenating sleep had left her energized and excited for the day ahead. The soft morning light streamed through her cabin window as she stretched and yawned, casting a warm glow on everything it touched. The gentle sound of the ocean waves outside added to the tranquility of the moment.

Rose mingles with the people at the banquet. She keeps Sasha in sight, so she can talk to her. As for Ciarán, something about him was rubbing her the wrong way. It was a good thing she came prepared. She walks close to Ciarán and gently drops a small GPS tracker into his side pocket. She also scans his cell phone with hers.

While she is close to Ciarán, she listens in on what he is saying to some guy. They were talking about investments and the newest CEO of some company. Nothing that matters to her. She wasn’t into acquiring or having lots of money like her family.

I awoke the next morning as the light came streaming through my parted curtains. I glanced over at my alarm and it said 8:10. I stretched and sure enough I was free. I didn’t even feel the hobble bands. I swung out of bed, attached the walking bag then switched tubes and got up and made my bed. I put on the peignoir and mules and went out to see what was going on as it seemed quiet out there.

The next day we joined up with Tessa's mum, dad and grandmother for breakfast at a local cafe. Whether or not Tessa had told them to be friendlier to me, I don't know, but the atmosphere was definitely less hostile than it had been at the party. I still wasn't comfortable in their presence, and doubted I ever would be again, but at least everything was now a bit more civilised.

The weeks passed by, and before I knew it we had reached the October half-term break. I was relieved to finally have a week off work. While some of the classes I was teaching were enjoyable - year 7 were just so infectious in their naive enthusiasm, and year 12 were quite profound in some of their observations on Shakespeare and Christina Rossetti's poetry - the others were becoming less and less pleasant.

The next day, I woke up with zero recollection of the moments before I had fallen asleep. I had intended on initiating sex with Tessa when we got into bed, but I must have fallen straight asleep, as I had no tangible recall of anything else happening. All I could clearly remember was us heading upstairs together. What happened after that, I simply couldn't remember. I must have been really tired and fallen asleep immediately!

My alarm sounded at 5am, which was standard on a workday. I flapped at it and managed to shut if off after three clumsy swipes. Alarm silenced, I twisted my head round to find the other side of the bed vacant. This was strange because my wife, Tessa, was not usually an early riser. Oh well, hopefully she was downstairs preparing me some breakfast.

Valin couldn’t help but let out a scream as half of his room was reduced to rubble. Luckily, whoever or whatever had cast the spell was concerned for the safety of the occupants, for there was another spell being cast; Some kind of absorption/portal type of thing. Even as he watched his clothing, his computer, his television and half his books sucked into oblivion, he couldn’t help but be impressed; To coordinate and cast such powerful spells in succession took incredible skill.
