I did get Melanie's computer replaced by tapping a savings account I hadn't touched in more than ten years. That's about the limit of my serendipitous funds, though.

The tax bill will likely wait till the new year, but a months late power bill has taken its place with more urgency. Ah, me.

Hey everyone. This is an update and quick thank you (to be updated in the morning.).

As of right now we have met our immediate needs and that combine with a loan from a friend of BC will go a long way to some of us getting some needed sleep.

We aren’t 100% out of danger but we will likely be ok and have a better idea of what the immediate dilutive for BC looks like.

There have been an awful lot of begging letters going out of late, and the most recent ones, I have to say, are solely my fault.

We're down to less than $300 in company accounts with some bills coming up.

And I personally am down to about $150 with my bills ahead of me.

Piper has $1100 in expense to keep her vehicles running which may hit on Thursday if a plan is not in place.

In a few days we start getting money coming in from our regular places but we are in a tight corner here.

This blog is intended to be a heads up.

TLDR:

• Hardware Upgrades "soon" but actual date unknown
• Database Upgrades even sooner, within the next 2 days

After the recent downtime where I had to do way too much data recovery, we put in plans for new infrastructure upgrades and improvements with help from a QnEZ Customer.

After recent expenses related to the downtime experienced Mar 29 to 31, and various monthly bills, we're broke. There is just less than $10 in our main bank account, and only $50 in my personal account. More bills are due as it is the beginning of the month.

We need money to get through the rest of the month.

Sometime today, probably in the evening Eastern Time, our servers will be unplugged and the rack they are in will be moved to a new location in the server farm before being plugged back in and rebooted.

Piper has been to the server farm these last two days to help ensure this goes smoothly, and we are not expecting to be down for more than an hour.

Don't Panic. :)

This has been planned for months, but is part of the reason we wanted to be sure we had money in the bank, right now, in case Piper had to stay overnight or something.

Hi there, wonderful Big Closet family. Jamie here, and I'm seemingly the one tasked with making the blog posts when shit happens to our tiny admin group here.

A few hours ago, Piper's brakes failed in her van as she was taking her NinjaPotato (nickname for her and her wife's young one) to dance class this evening. Everyone is alright, she was able to get the car safely into a Wawa parking lot and call for a tow and AAA....

But even with AAA, this is liable to be an expensive fix, on top of potential rental car cost. We could definitely use some help if anyone could send some Christmas funds our direction :)

Our bank account is empty. We're almost a month behind on where we should be for operating funds.

For the last four months, we have been short of funds at the end of each month and borrowed from the next month to keep going. That mule is dead and will not cross the finish line. I just put money of my own into the company account to cover for a few days
