A dilemma arises

Do I have to post a message every time I transfer money? Won't it be a vanity show-off? Or maybe an incentive for others?

I would suggest not needing to mention the amount. I never mentioned the amount as to me it may be a zero sum gain as it may or may not incentivize potential donors for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, I think it is more of the latter as it is human nature not to give unless one feels absolutely needed, so if other people are giving, why should I?

However, in my case, I always mail my donation, as I am in the US, and this is my way of letting Erin know it is coming and it is a reminder that support is indeed needed.

Sent out my usual, Monday

Visiting my in-laws in Stockbridge, Ma so mailed from there so don't know how efficient they are compared to my home state.

For what it's worth, we opened the will but the main issue is that the will does not specify what kind of service she wanted for a funeral. My in-laws just like to celebrate the life by telling stories about the deceased and am not big on religious funerals so I have to think it over.

I then visited Provincetown. Man it is quite a difference it being High Season for tourism here. I had an amazing Whale Watch outing. I cannot more recommend that one does whale watches earlier in summer. Tjhere are a LOT more whales to see. I saw probably like two dozen whales or so.

I've never been deliberately whale watching but I have seen them off the coast here, and anytime I've gone out in a boat. :)

Sorry my contributions have been lacking. My spouse of 47years died in May. Since then, I've been waiting for her retirement fund to renew monthly payments. My household income has shrunk due to my partner no longer receiving her social security due to her death and she had been paying for some of the bills.

I inherited her savings but that was to be part of our retirement savings.

Neglect

I'm okay for now. But we all know death comes with it a significant amount of expenses. I've paid for the cremation. There is the cost of of the trip to see in-laws in Massachusetts and the side trip to Provincetown to help ease my pain a bit. The funeral ceremony will be another expense. The burial expense is up in the air due to complications as to where we plan to do it. The preferred location may not be available but may become available.

I've been very down for this past month, still grieving, still hurt, still angry.

It has been very painful.

I am not even remotely close to being done grieving.

Anyways, I am sending a bit more by money order, as usual tomorrow.
