Besides the regular bills, we have some special needs that have come up.
I did get Melanie's computer replaced by tapping a savings account I hadn't touched in more than ten years. That's about the limit of my serendipitous funds, though.
The tax bill will likely wait till the new year, but a months late power bill has taken its place with more urgency. Ah, me.

I know a laptop isn't mentioned here but....
Down the road if one is needed and this type is easily repairable and upgradeable even I would suggest a Framework. Just a suggestion as a long term cost saving.

That said, I remember correctly she had built a gaming computer based on a Ryzen 2700X about 4 years ago or so, or that could be somebody else?
