I know there are kids every where who don't fit in and are ostracized by their peers. Some want it that way and some like me want to fit in to learn how to be sociable to get along with the others however I am socially challenged to the point that speaking to my peers causes me to make statements that are totally uncool, as they say.

Michelle Chapter 3 & 4

Michelle
Chapter 3

I jumped up and down and said . “I was right.” over and over. She grabbed me by the arm and demanded to know what I meant.

“I just knew in my heart that out of those baggy dreary clothes you were a Hottie. Tina you are beautiful no matter what you have on. You just need to show it.” I hugged her tight and kissed literally on the lips. She started to tear up and I pulled a tissue from my pocket and dabbed at her eyes. Do Not Cry! You will ruin your makeup and I haven't learned how to put it on yet.”

Michelle Chapter 2

“OK,OK I get the picture” I said and stepped away from then and took off my shoes and socks. Tina was unbuttoning the flannel shirt she had on and Suzette was rummaging through one of her drawers. She came out with two pairs of athletic shorts and two t-shirts. I had my back to them as I took off my shirt revealing a camisole.

“I like that, can I borrow it?” Suzette asked.

This is the first story I have written in over two years. I am having difficulty breaking it down into chapters so please be patient. I guess having a heart attack and cataracts has motivated me to write again. That and the fact that I am having difficulty shaving because the guy in the mirror keeps screaming about a monster and running away every morning. Thank you.

Chapter 1

I awoke earlier than usual that momentous morning and walked out the back door to see the sun rising slowly over the lush verdant fields of eastern Arkansas. The neat clean rows of cotton and soybeans awaiting the warm life-giving rays of the sun. The plants stretching to receive the mornings blessing from Father Sol. The rows beckoned me to come and grow with them and stretch my arms to receive the blessings of the Sun also. I walked out to the fields and stood among them warming myself as the Sun rose higher and higher over the horizon. The coming of the day was always exciting to me making me feel as though I would have another chance at being the best I could and today, like any other, was a chance to be what I wanted to be. I had made the decision to myself to realize my life’s dream, now I had to find a way to do it. Luck was with me for once and the way came, however not without a price.
