When college-aged Alana talks her brother Andy into taking her place on a trip, Andy finds himself
transformed by Alana's best friend Christina into Andie. Soon he learns that Spring Break is more
than a break from the tedium that is studying and the unparalleled anxiety which is exam week.

For "her," it becomes a break from the person everyone expects "her" to be, a time to break free
from the shackles of masculinity, and a time when "she" makes the most important decision of her life,

the decision of whether or not to transition!

Taking Down Two Stories

Hello and happy spring! And in the spirit of this wonderful time of renewal, I've revised my novella Two Weeks at the Last Firefly Inn (literary fiction/indie-sci-fi) and my novel Reaching the Point of No Regrets (TG romance) and listed them for sale for Amazon Kindle; in fact, "Firefly Inn" underwent a very thorough and exhaustive rewrite, including a happier alternate ending, as well as being rewritten entirely from the first person perspective of Alice, among other changes.

Reaching the Point of No Regrets, the self published version

As promised, the final polished version of Reaching the Point of No Regrets is now available as an ebook on lulu.com. I think you'll enjoy some scenes that I added, as well as some necessary editing that, in my opinion, really helped improve the flow of the story. Aside from that, it's only $3.50. I hope everyone enjoys this unofficial second edition. Thanks for reading.

Cheers,
Drew

Reaching the Point of No Regrets, self published version

Soon, very soon, the revised version(and by revised, I mean going over it with a fine tooth comb) of Reaching the Point of No Regrets will be available on lulu.com and for the nook e-reader. All you need is Adobe Digital Editions to download the story from the lulu site. Right now, someone is helping me search for just the right marketing image for my story. During this final revision, I edited a few scenes out while adding some others. Now the story flows much better. Whew! Editing certainly can be a bear, especially when you're OCD like me.

It's been a while...

For my loyal readers who have been avidly following my story Out of the Blue Part II: Into the Fray, sorry for the delays. Since I came out to my parents and starting transitioning with hormones just about a year ago, I've gone through a couple of very dark patches, but now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, I'm feeling very peaceful in my mind and contented. It's good to be writing and posting again. Looking forward to the future!

The Christmas of My Dreams

The Christmas of My Dreams
By Drew Miller

High school student John gets more than he bargained for when he begins using a curious old typewriter which he inherits from his grandfather. Although this Christmas story is not strictly classified as TG, it does contain a surprising and heartfelt ending for those who are kind enough to give it a chance and read through to the end. Hope you enjoy it!

Out of the Blue Part II: Into the Fray

Up until now, the lingering question has been, are there other's like Karen Shaw out there? Now, in chapter two, the reader will finally find out when Karen is transferred to a remote military base where she will be safe from the chaos that has descended upon the United States, indeed the rest of the world. But she may not be as safe as she initially perceives.

Suicide is never an option

Sometimes, I have trouble believing that suicide is never an option. And once again, just the other day, I found myself considering suicide as a viable option because of a laundry list of reasons. First of all, I don’t have anything in my life to fall back on. I don’t have anything to throw myself into in order to dull the pain and help me forget-for a little while at least. In particular, my job prospects are bleak, as they have been for quite some time. There’s no way to sugarcoat it.

Coming clean

I don’t know why, but sometimes I feel dishonest somehow for posting stories on this site. It’s hard to explain, but here it goes. I’m not transitioning, nor do I have any plans to transition from male to female in the near future, but sometimes I feel that the desire to transition is some kind of unwritten prerequisite for posting on a site that’s a friendly place to read and write TG fiction.

Comments

Before I post anything else, just thought I'd take the time to thank everyone for all of their wonderful comments. They are much appreciated and help to keep me motivated. I've wanted to reply to all of the comments for some time now, ever since I posted my first story back in November, but I'm not entirely sure I waited until now, just like I'm not sure why I hung around this site for so long as a guest reader, just like I'm perplexed as to why I didn't start writing until 2011.
