Reilly woke up early that morning and quickly showered and dressed in his school uniform. He was a freshman at St. Mark's Academy for Boys, and, although his studies were progressing nicely, he was still homesick. It was November, and he had been away from home for over two months.

“I don’t think I’ll ever ….I’m not going to look for anyone.” She sighed as she lowered her head to the table once again, and the two nearly echoed her with sighs of their own, like an ironic fade-out to a movie scene.

Chapter one:

Being a girl is a state of existence that tells you “no” all day long. It mocks you over and over again, telling you that you’re an idiot. That you’re crazy.

If you like spending hours pouring over personal grooming and presentation, cosmetics and make up are for you.

If you like brutalizing your self image for hours on end until there’s nothing left, then shopping is for you.

I’m so different now.

I mean that’s kind of obvious when you go from a washed out Ex-MMA fighter to a ganger and druggie to this…me.

And right now I’m leading Kyle…my boyfriend and lover to our bedroom because he’s scared and hurting and needs some TLC. He’s gone from the blonde blue eyed built preppy media darling that he was to this almost fae…to this dark skinned elfin angel.

And myself from a six foot hispanic mixed asshole to a not quite five foot Japanese girl.

I walk backwards pulling him by his hands to our room and our bed and I’m smiling. I get how a good girl can make a guy feel and he’s looking at me in that way y’know. Never thought I’d be a good girl.

Sage was already outside and waiting for Brooke and Rachel to join her for the recess. As the two of them came over, they went to a side part of the playground, near the classes, but near one of the basketball courts. As they watched the boys play, Sage saw Yvette coming over to them and she warned Brooke and Rachel.

At the word please, Rachel and Brooke's jaws dropped and Sage just blinked a couple of times. When they didn't respond, she asked again. “Please, can I ask a question? I know I've been...well, I've been a jerk, and I really am sorry about it, but I want to know something.”
