My mom woke me before my alarm went off, and after a few minutes of brain rebooting, I staggered into the shower, then got dressed for the day. Mom had laid out a sundress for me, but I really wasn’t ready for that. I don’t know if I ever will be. I wore a pair of light tan jeans, with a light red (no, it’s not pink-I don’t care who says it is) t-shirt. My usual ankle socks and trainers, of course, and I put my hair into a nice ponytail.

I’m greeted by several of the native leaders that are there and there’s some Cree, Hurons, and Algonquin as well as Bearskin Mohawks…I get this distinct feel off of them like they’re Were but not wolves…I’m not stupid enough to ask what.

They get led to me and I can’t really let that go down. This might be my camp but not my home turf so I go to them.

I’ve been practicing this ever since I knew that they were coming and I channel a spell I’ve made.

I looked at myself in the full length mirror standing with tear filled eyes. Mascara runs on my face and hair still styled in a pony tail and so I took out the hair band to let my hair fall. I brushed it out again with a centre parting and looking at it I decided that I would let Fran shape and style it. I wanted to see if the girl that i could now see in the mirror could go one step further to look even more convincing.
