When Alya, and Clair, arrive back at the ranch house. Clair goes looking for Jasmine. The information she got from the app she used to check the flight plan of the helicopter flying over her property didn’t look right. There was no reason for anyone to fly over the property.

Alya finds Ada in the vast library Clair had. As she entered the library, she was amazed at how many first editions and rare books it held. She noticed that Clair had a nice collection of Native American, African, Egyptian, British, Indianan, Greek, Christian, and various other cultural artifacts.

At another shop, my denim skirt was replaced by a lovely, pleated skirt in a colour that Sandra told me was light tan. When I stood still, it looked straight, but flared out as I walked. I added another couple as we dived in and out of the shops. We had lunch at Macca’s and then went back to the bus on the other side of the road.

Once Alice’s outfit had been finalised, I went to seek advice from Rachel. I was trying not to worry unduly over the potential damage I might have just done to my campaign. She greeted me with a hug and a cryptic “You’re late back. I assume you were off somewhere in that sexy little automobile.”

“I wish I had been! I’ve been trying to disentangle myself from my clingy friend and it isn’t working out too well.” I explained what had just been happening and how I’d managed to induce Harvey and Alice to spend an evening together.
