Life has some certainties, birth and death of course, but the rest is a mix of Minestrone and Spaghetti, some of which we have no direct influence over. We can however decide whether we want Parmesan or other seasoning, we can give Gnochi a try, doesn't mean we'll like it but at least we'll know. Gaby has reached just such a point in her life, she knows she likes Pizza, she's not averse to Spaghetti or Lasagne but is Gnochi for her? The Gnochi in this case is doing the singing with BlauHase on a more serious level, as a 'hobby' its fine but could this be a change of career? In this chapter, Halloween brings a whirlwind of excitement to the Blake household as Sam and Lily prepare their costumes and dive into the festivities. Emily, initially hesitant to join in, finds herself stepping out of her comfort zone and embracing the spirit of the night. From handing out candy to trick-or-treaters to exploring a haunted house with the family, she begins to feel more connected. Later, an invitation to a party leads her to face unexpected choices, ultimately leaving her with lessons about freedom, boundaries, and the weight of responsibility.

He just knew it. And he was mightily annoyed about it.

Being annoyed couldn't describe how John felt when not even ten feet from the landing craft onto the sands of the beach before being cut down by German machine gun fire. Talk about being angry as he fell onto the sand...

This is a story I did a few years ago and posted on Sapphire's. It's an attempt at Science Fiction and Adventure. At the time I wrote it, I had never read any of the Gor books. Now that I have, I'm surprised at some of the similarities.

The story is about Bill, who, through a travesty of justice gets involved with a dying boy. With the help of the boy's late uncle's writings, Bill is pulled into a strange, savage world.
