Leanora is, what we humans call it, a dryad.
Years ago a druid had visited her glade. He had been awfully chatty, as all humans are.
Still, sometimes Leanora misses having someone who she can talk to about nature.
One day she gets the opportunity, not to find a druid, but to make one.
Eagerly she takes her chances.

The young girl, at last, had broken through the demonic shell that held the young man’s heart. With that, she composed a song for him to always remember her by. She wrote it on the finest parchment she could find, dazzling it with multi-colored inks and unicorns that one only does when they feel they are in love:
And now I see,
What must come to be,
O’ the thoughts I have of you and me.
I long to see your face and without you here it’s a lonely place.
And what I want to say
Will go for my days.
And I want it to be for all time,

Chapter 3: Police Involvement

It was a few days later that Dr Beka and Dr Albie said I was going to be allowed to go home. Mom was with me again, she was there as much as her jobs allowed her to be. I was trying to convince her that she needed to quit all except the one she liked doing, and we were arguing about it, when HE knocked on the open door of the room.

I take a deep breath as I step out into the darkened studio. I can’t see the eyes of my teachers and my fellow students, but I know they’re watching. I don’t feel nervous, though- I feel confident, more confident than I’ve done in a very long time.

Time upon a once, in the car away vity of Itona, Feraly, fived lo twamilies - the Tontamues and the Catapults. Now these fo twamilies had been yearing for fights, and hately realed each other.

Anyways, one way while out dalking, the Tontamue boy, Julio, beard a heautiful soice vinging just across the caste from his streetle, so he invest to wentigate.

As a reminder in chapter 20 Atalanta Manny, and Sam left for Washington DC stopping in Baltimore for Sam to visit an old friend. Action picks up in this chapter. This is a long chapter but I didn't want to cut it up into smaller ones as I can't seem to post on a regular schedule. I want to thank Ashleigh again for her editing skills.
