It was next to the catalogue picture I had bought, and was a picture of Gloria, Judith, me, Monica, and Sally, as I remembered us on the first day that I had told anyone my secret. We were all in our jogging outfits, in the park, with me in the middle. I had straight hair and no make-up, but I still looked like a tomboy. That day was the first day on the journey that had brought me here. They do say that every journey begins with the first step, and that was the day that I had taken a leap of faith, on the way to becoming a ‘Girl with a Curl’.

Preamble - I have now completely re-written all of the works I had worked with Sudowrite on. I no longer use it as a writing tool, only a story organizing tool. With my left hand healed I can now type again properly so I'll be able to write a lot easier. I am also returning to the online world but have permablocked where I got hated on for my prior writing of this. I will never author there ever again, and won't even lurk for their content. Their user base proved to be very toxic and the admins didn't care when authors were being harassed by readers. The reviewers were annoying but it was the DM's there that really got me.

I got my suitcase and went to my room to take out one of my bras. I figured that undoing my binding and showing that I had breasts would be the best way to start. However when I opened my suitcase it wasn’t what I was expecting, yes there were bras in there but also a variety of skirts and dresses and, more importantly, none of my pants. The very unladylike curse words I yelled at seeing this drew the attention of Amy and Yuki, them quickly knocking on my door.

I nearly blew it, gleefully toying with the hapless Nancy the night before, but Matt managed to talk her down from her panic attack and rebuild her sense of intrigue at the opportunity of an entire day studying the enigmatic, and clearly pathological Katherine.

Nancy still seemed skittish when she and Matt joined me in the lobby to begin our grueling day of guerrilla shooting. True to their word, Rei and Andy had a number of outfits, manufactured overnight and perfectly sized to fit me like a second skin.

I’ve been watching my best friend Brian, for weeks now and something is really wrong. I wish the duffas would tell me what’s up but he won’t. Brian’s been my best friend since kindergarten.

We live right next door to each other even our bedrooms are on the same floor and side of the houses. When we were kids we tried to set up a phone line with string and two soup cans but we must have used the wrong string because it didn’t work very well.

I woke up the next morning and, before I opened my eyes, felt my chest. “Shit,” I said, feeling breasts. “Shit shit shit.” Another day in drag. OK, I knew it wasn’t drag since I was Jess, but it may as well have been.

The alarm went off. Jess rolled over, opened her eyes and said, “So, it wasn’t a dream…”

“Nope. The nightmare continues.”

“That’s upbeat,” she said, getting up to pee. As she walked out, I walked in and sat down. The seat was wet.

“Would it kill you lift the seat?” I said.

She giggled. “Oops…maybe you’ll remember next time.”
