CHAPTER 48
She was warm, and as my chin settled onto the top of her head, I caught the simple scent of shampoo. Her arms went up my back to hook over my shoulders, and I felt her shudder a little, and I knew.
“No tears. Maz. Not tonight. Tomorrow, maybe, well, we have Sunday, all of it”
“Next weekend as well, Mike”
“Indeed”
“I… I brought some stuff with me. For tomorrow, if we do go out”
Yuri raised his glass as he looked at each one of us.
“To absent friends and relatives. We will carry out the dive off Sardinia, but will not be going east, as planned. I have arranged for us to spend a little more time at this end of the Med, so that our rendezvous can be reorganised. We will relax at Monaco and stay there a few days.”
Two years ago Stacy visited a newly discovered dimension, with his parents, on an adventurous summer vacation. He was astounded by how the other dimension's technology was decades ahead of his own! During his senior year he applied to Emerson University in the city he had visited. He was excited and hopeful of learning more about their technology as an exchange student, and hopefully bring it back to his own world. (Story set in the Diaper Dimension)
Julia is now a mature, successful, transgender businesswoman and has forgotten all about her past and the things that men made her do when she was younger. A chance meeting with Timothy Valentine, one of her past tormentors, changes her life forever. A tale of coercion and degradation suddenly becomes a love story.
Intimate starts to the chapter leading into interactions with Adam and April and an invitation to go out to dinner, more stuff with school and taking over homecoming.

You tend to meet all sorts of people when dealing with Politics; sadly, most of them are politicians. But there's still the odd normal human thrown in as well. Now, those normal human beings can often be worse than the politicians in the long run. In fact, it’s often the case.
That's a whole other kettle of fish, though, and it can get lumped under the often stated fact that people are stupid, unfortunately. Still, the odds are that there are at least a few interesting gems hiding in all the muck, right?
Events unfold including but not limited to:
Hannah corrupts someone,
A toast is raised,
And we avoid talking about the Graeco-Roman religious divide!
CHAPTER 46
“Why did you agree to act as a negotiator, when you have not been trained in such work?”
I could see that the two of them weren’t interested in the easy questions. I gathered as much logic as I could find.
“I don’t think there was any real choice. We had an armed man taking shots at people he didn’t like, time was crucial to clear the roadway outside, as there was a high probability that the rallygoers would contain gang members, and we couldn’t risk moving the crowd while there were live rounds being discharged. Morris had been very specific in asking for me”
Being a parent is stressful even at the best of times. You are always worrying about your children no matter how old they are.
But, being a single parent is just doubly or even triply so. Since ‘she’ left me to go off with ‘him’ because of … well, just about everything, it had just been my son Jonathan or, as he preferred to be called ‘Jon’ and me.
Jon was growing up fast but the worry of being a patent didn’t reduce as he grew older. Teenagers have their own special set of issues.
This particular Friday night, he was out god knows where with some friends. At least that’s what he told me via a text message earlier. The weather was filthy so I’d stayed up waiting for the inevitable phone call, ‘Dad, can you come and pick me up?’

Derek was the next guy to arrive. Unlike Jeff, he was a sexist douche. He hung out with other popular guys, but all the girls hated him. They intended to change that. He knocked on the door extremely loudly. When he opened the door he saw some hot girl he didn’t recognize
“Who the hell are you, bitch?”
“I’m Jessica, i’m new to the group. Who are you?”
“I’m Derek. Nice tits by the way.” Jessica ignored him.
“Lets go to the back, that’s where the pool.”
When they got to the pool, he saw that he was the only guy.
Mike and I had been friends since we were toddlers. We lived next door, went to the same schools, though Mike in a year above me. We both made the basketball team in High School. Mike even became captain of the team and the school star athlete. As I said we were the best of friends. I loved Mike and Mike was in love with me. Unfortunately I wasn’t gay. He was a good sport about it but when his Prom approached he talked me into being his date.
I curtsey for the audience as the thunder of their applause breaks over me, a pounding, re-echoing surf so deep you could drown in it. I keep a bright, happy, grateful smile fixed on my face as I do so. I'm Ireland's sweetheart after all, the songbird of Kerry. My shows are sold out, my albums top the bestseller lists ,I'll be appearing at the Abbey Theatre as Kathleen Ni Houlihan at this year's festival and I'm tipped to be the next Rose of Tralee.
In the near future, Andy is looking for a way to earn some money. He decides to go along with what appears to be a Nigerian scam. Things don't go as planned of course.

Debra would be the first person to ever had a one on one interview with Ren Nagata. This was Debra’s big chance and she really wanted to impress her boss by coming back with an interview worthy of her trust. Little could Debra see how this one interview would affect her life or how it would influence her career.
Tim is patiently waiting for his high school days to draw to a close. He can’t wait to go away to college, far from a dad who is disappointed with his son’s tiny frame. Tim is also unhappy with his body, for a much more shielded reason. Music provides the catalyst for lasting change.
