I know there have been many things written to eulogize Stan since his passing and I don't want to be tedious or redundant, but I wanted to share my own feelings about someone who was so misunderstood and yet, so loved.

I know this is old, but it might still bring about a chuckle or two.

Well, the night before last I caught my foot against a pallet at work, and became off balance and started to fall. It felt like someone had yanked on my leg hard. So I went to the hospital to get checked out today, and it looks like I dodged a bullet and didnt do any damage to myself.

Still hurt, though.

Ah, well.

Well, the hormones I'm still on are apparently doing better. Instead of one patch every three and a half days, I'm wearing two patches for a week. That plus the Spiro actually has my breasts growing now. I mean, I wake up in the night finding myself rubbing them going "these aren't a bra or padding, they are really attached to me" and then drifting back into a contented sleep.

I've also noticed that my skin is getting softer and my limbs are getting thinner. My bicep was well developed and I had thick forearms, now they are noticeably thinner.

Okay, on the front page of the site, on the right hand side, normally I have a control panel that says "Joy Phillip" and has links to my messages, places like my account settings, my stories and more. I check there daily to see if there is anything new.

Yesterday it disappeared.

I came back today and it's still not there. It is present if I go to a story, a blog post or some other page, but not on the front page.

Have you ever found an unfinished piece of writing--one you did weeks, months or even years before--and said to yourself, "Did I write this? I didn't know I could write this well!" That happened to me recently, when I came across an old story excerpt that seemed too good to have come from me.

Some people have been wondering where I've been. So it seems only fair I should tell them.

Just to ease everyone's mind, I hadn't been sucked into the Bermuda Triangle, nor had I been abducted by aliens who force-fed me Cheez-Its while making me watch episodes of "Real Housewives of New Jersey." And, as should be obvious by the presence of this blog entry, I certainly haven't died. Though if I had, and I still managed to produce a blog entry, that would give a whole new meaning to the term "ghost writer." (Slight pause while everyone groans.)

I think it's worth reminding people that there are some cracking stories on this site in the archives, both stand alones and serials. So do feel free to browse, but remember to give the authors a Kudo or a comment or both.

This past week, there was a message Rachel not being heard from in a While. I had actually asked Sephrena about her because I had heard nothing in some time and noticed she had not commented on stuff since January.

I am reading Nancy Cole's, "Dance of the Baccha". It in many ways is a pleasant story, though at times quite frightening and tense, the subject matter dredging memories up less pleasant times for me.

I am in the first chapters where "M's" brother is being exposed to things that he had longed for, but had buried so deeply that he had not practiced.

Gay Marriage is now legal in England and Wales. This legislation does not effect Scotland, Northern Ireland, Mann, or the Channel Islands.

Major Crimes on the TV station TNT had a fictional story about a thirteen year old TG teen, who was missing. The show was season 2 episode 6. There was a fair mix of supporters and detractors, in the expected places and the police seemed to handle the case well. A grizzly circumstance but fair and even handling.

My uncle has taken a turn for the worse. Apparently, he had a heart attack last night. Going to go see him tonight.....

Hello everyone who is reading, yes it is that time of the year again where I post this question.

I just finished re-reading an oldie I wanted to mention. It is called The Suit by LJ over on FM.

While I seem to be soldiering on, life seems to be far too big for me at times and I am thinking of disappearing. BCTS seems to be the one pleasant and relatively peaceful place in my life, so I would perhaps not disappear from here.

In real life, I have somehow been harnessed as a stalking horse for certain GBLT activist groups and this public life is uncomfortable for me. I'd rather just quietly live my life, not revealing that I am anything but an elderly woman. I've learned some hard lessons in the last few years.

Just checked my account and found that I've been a member of BC for seven years twenty one hours. My how time flies when you're having fun. I'm trying to think of all that's happened in those seven years, and how many stories I've posted? I think the thing that amazes me the most is that I'm still alive and kicking. Had a valve replacement three years ago and a defibulator implanted two years ago, which has saved my life twice that I know of. I'm still self employed as a glazing contractor for those that didn't know and still writing stories when I have time.

Well, last night I had another encounter with my clueless co-worker, and after she once again called me by my male name, I made a point of talking to my supervisor about the situation. She talked to the girl, and the girl said she had met me when we both worked at Zellers (I dont remember meeting her, but that doesnt mean it didnt happen.) So according to her, she was having some trouble doing a mental switch and call me by the right name, but would do better in the future.

For now, I'm going to consider this a win, but I will be on my guard around her ....

I often wonder what people see when they look at me.
