Transgendered Game Writer's Project on Kickstarter

I'm not sure how many of you play video games, but for those that do, I thought you might like to know about a kickstarter project that is about to expire (5 more days), and hasn't reached it's target goal:(

The project is led by a transgendered woman, Dani Landers, who has dreamed up a very lovely story involving a mother and her child. The artwork looks incredible, and, while the team is small (4 people, I think), it looks like it will end up being something that people who enjoy adventures will have fond memories of long after they have played the game.

Not Dead Yet.

Some people who have seen my comments to story posts, and blogs would be aware I am not dead yet. Neither is Shift Happens. I have been working chiseling out the next installments, and trying to organize, just how to present and format the story, so it makes the most sense. The next portion is titled The Climb , and it was getting to big and cumbersome, to make one post, so it will be in three, A B C .

That is the question...

I read a blog here in BC posted just little while ago, and it caught my eye. I mean, how can it not, with a title like, "Women Better Without Bras." Right? And you don't have to be a boy for a blog like this to pique your interest. Prurient male curiosity aside, women would be interested in the blog, too. I miss Robert ....

I was rereading Julie O, and saw that Robert Arnold edited/proofed many of her stories. I miss him so much, he touched my life is so many ways. That started me thinking of others who are not with us any more, and I realized I could have been one too. I still have my moments of doubt and suicidial thoughts, and wonder if I will always be haunted by that siren call.

I have so much to be thankful for ... my life is slowly getting back into order and my sunshine filled days far out weigh my demon plague nights.

Is it always like this? I need someone cuddle with.

Hey folks. Ol' Krunch checking in. Being Christina Chase is finished and judging by the responses from my three fans, it looks like more people liked how it wrapped up than didn't.

So I'm gonna take a victory lap. Novel accomplished. Never doing that again. Story over. Thanks for reading. I hope you liked it. If anyone else wants to rewrite it, continue it, ignore it, etc, have at it.

Op Rescue, Bikini Beach, and MAU universes

I've been asked by a couple of people about writing stories in my universes. I appreciate people asking. I guess I did get rather snippy a few years ago over some of the blasphemy being done to Bikini Beach. I've got one very strong and promising author who has taken some of my story ideas and is turning them to gold. They are story ideas which were so far down in my writing queue that I'd never get to them in the foreseeable future.

I make my girlfriend blush

I was talking with Kylie today, and she mentioned that she talks about me with just about everyone she knows - her therapist, her floor monitor, her friends - and when she does, she blushes. I find this idea, that the thought of me making someone blush to be hard to wrap my head around. But there you have it. Neat, no?

Publishing update/ news on Just Friends

The Transsexual and the cross: Disproving the myth that transsexuality is a sin will be published on Thursday (midnight). It will be a dead tree and available on Kindle. I know there has been some that wanted to share this with church groups and link to this site. The work here is incomplete and I prefer not leading people here. I will make the book available in a month or so and I enabled sharing so one copy can be spread around. The cost will be 2.99 and I hope you will consider supporting me as I head into uncharted territory. I think this may be the most important work I've ever done.

Destiny Bender Part One coming soon

My new story, "Destiny Bender" is in the works and I should have part one finished soon. This will be a much smaller series than Angel and will revolve around a teenage boy who's struggles in a measly life wishing his life would have turned out different. One day he is given the chance to change a mistake that forever altered his life. While this sounds much like a typical wish kind of story, it is not. Unlike Angel the TG elements will be more front end center rather than subtle.

I wish I was a better writer

Sometimes, I wish I was a better writer. I have good ideas, but not as good at getting them out. For example, I made a series of stories about an organization called "Vision Spring", that appears to the outside world to be a charity that helps Gay, lesbian and trans people, but is in fact a group of people who have magical control over one of the traditional elements - Earth, Water, Fire, Nature, Light, Darkness, and the Air.

I had been hoping to have the chapters of my DRU stories and Winter's Child ready by Saturday but being off my hormones and anti-anxiety medications for the past three weeks has been making it harder and harder to concentrate. I had hoped that the end was in sight with me being able to get my medical coverage sorted out tomorrow but on Friday afternoon I got an email from my Aunt's lawyer telling me that she has died and I need to return to my hometown for the will reading.

Ma said during our last skype call a few days ago that it's forty-five degrees back home. Living in Manila for a while now, I am now more used to using Centigrade when measuring temperature, as opposed to Fahrenheit, and using kilometers instead of miles when measuring distance. So when she said forty-five degrees, I used my iPad and came up with 7.2 Centigrade. I told her it was 95 degrees here (which is 35 in centigrade-speak). It's so friggin' hot here! What I wouldn't give for a forty-five degree day.

It seems like the more comfortable with myself as a girl I become, the harder it is to have male bits. Last night my parts moved a bit, and I had to fight back tears, and I also had to fight off the urge to take my box-cutter knife to them ....

Ah, well.

I'm feeling very paranoid today because of something my mother said this morning. I was about to tell her something amazing that I had found out last night. I said, ''You'll never guess what I found out last night!'' and she replied, ''That you are really a boy?'' with a slight smile. That got me worried. It's probably nothing but it's just the way she said it that made me paranoid. It was as if she knew something. Bleagh. I hope she doesn't.

No Different Flesh

I’m saddened by how few people know the writing of Zenna Henderson. Her books and stories were a combination of non-technical sci-fi, psychic powers like magic, deep spirituality and strong emotional resonance. Although she did not write TG fiction, she wrote often of what it feels like to be the outsider, to be miserably alone and then to find a community of people like yourself. For that reason she may be of interest to BCTS readers.

Quick question (non-tg so far, but writing related)

Last year, I came across a book about what makes a hero a hero, and a villain a villain, and what the differences really are. Ok, I lost the link to the book and was wondering if anyone here has, perchance, seen it? Basically, who is the greater good person, the hero that accidentally floods the valley and lets a few innocents die, or the villain who saves the people but makes the hard decisions on who to save? Call thenm the arrogant hero and the tragic villain. There are so many writers here, there must be an answer somewhere, just need to keep looking :P
Thanks!

Now I want to give an accurate description of your average transsexual because I think society at large doesn't have a clue. I should be done the end of this week and need to edit. Then I need a strong marketing push.

Please, please, please, put away 2.99 for you to buy this the day it comes out and tell others to do the same. I think it is in all our bests interest if this makes the top 10 apologetic list on Amazon.
