Hi! It's been a really long time since I've written anything here.
Things have been going really well for me with my marriage and new home.
I really love the way things have changed here. A very nice job to all involved!
A couple of people have asked when I would finish my last story. I would really like to and there is a story behind it and why I haven't, and it goes back to a thing that is talked about a lot here, which is being nice about criticism.
For those of you who know me on Facebook, this is not new. For those who don't, but have read my stories here (the only place I post my stories, here goes.
Well. After the longest eight months of my short life, I'm finally back, writing again. As to why I was gone so long, real life and illness took up all my time. I found out a lot about myself and a lot of other things, what was important and what wasn't. I lost almost everything material that i possessed and a long term relationship as well as my health. The whole experience made me stronger and maybe nicer and certainly a lot more patient.
Real life gets in the way again. I'm starting a new job in another city and will be moving. As a result, I won't be posting any new stories for the time being. I may have a little time to write, but for now, I'm one gone girl.
Does anyone know if cadets at the Naval Academy get summers off or a spring break? I'm doing a little research for my next story and i can't seem to find the answer :(

Here's some of the fun we have in my home country! Our boys make really pretty girls, and there's no making fun of them! They're having fun. No real need to translate.

This is so probably yesterday's news, but has anyone heard about the "comedy" on ABC called 'Work It Out' or something like that about guys crossdressing to work?
Is it just me or is this not a funny concept at all?
Did the pitch meeting go like this?
Smith: "We're running out of ideas, Boss? We were thinking a show about making fun of crossdressers"
Boss: "Great idea, Smith! It's never been done before"
Jones: "Wait a minute, Boss! Aren't we in Hollywood supposed to be on the cutting edge of sensitivity?"
I got a comment on one of my story chapters. Some person, a guest reader, accused me of deleting a comment, and was pretty well pissed. I can deal with that.
What I found very offensive was that this person used the term "his/her writing"
