In working my way through "A Change Of Orders", the idea of sexual attraction has reared its ugly head. As a an author, and post op, there is no physical attraction, at all. No male, or female that I have wanted has passed through my life. My body seems completely immune to responding to even a simple 'wank'.
I'm about halfway through the story and the subject of attraction has come up and the protagonist has the same view as I. Does this mean that a complete lack of erotic response is not uncommon? Is this a new direction in stories?
I went for a long leisurely ride today that stretched to over 2 hours. I've an ebike so there is no justification for saying it was in any sense of the word, "athletic". Along the way part of the time, I mused about why authors write TG stories, real or fiction. There have to be dozens of different motivations. No time was wasted on sussing out the reason for pre-pubescent incidence. Thinking about it now, is it genetic, environmental, resulting from abuse, who can say. Not to criticise, I am sure that some stories lend to wanking off. Questions, questions ....
Just now reading Tanya Allen's latest 5 part story in Kindle. This is my sort of Science Fiction, Forced Fem...She is one of the best writers that we have on this site. Enjoy.
It's just after 3:30 am here, so around 11:30 am in the UK, and I'm thinking about some of the stories I have most enjoyed. Of course, it goes without saying that "Bike" is one. "Twice Removed" was another. "Somewhere Else Entirely" is one... My mind is too foggy this time of day for perfect recall of dozens of others... "Deception Of Choice" came at a time when I needed it and it probably saved my life. Stories of 'Pete' have provided a welcome distraction.
Too lazy to dress properly to ride my bike, so I just stayed in my Ankle length A line skirt, a top, with a pretty flowery Jacket, and of course HELMET. Of course my ebike has a drop frame, so my exhibitionistic efforts were not as blatant as I had hoped. I went into a market for some goodies, and a woman told me she had not seen a woman in a skirt on a bike since Amsterdam. :)
I just don't know how to make my praise of this work any more sincere. It has taken me more than perhaps a fortnight to read this and I just finished it at 04:30 AM PDT on 5/8/2024.
I've often cried at times, even solidly wept... when I've read some works.
This time when it finished I was laughing at the prose, and the artwork was absolutely fabulous and adorable.
Thank you so much Bryony Marsh. I wish I had personally known you, though there is surely a bit of yourself here.
Lately my rough drafts are XXX, and I am unsure that do do with them. It used to work to edit the porn out of them but somehow that seems to rip their heart out.
I am going to take a look at publishing some stories at Literotica as "Missykateti" to see what happens. This is not me throwing a fit, breaking all the dishes and throwing pots and pans.
There are two things that make this insane fantasy excursion into girlhood worth it. 1. I have my own self grown boobs. 2. I no longer have to endure the sweating and itching from that sack of shit between my legs.
I think that I have been a member at BCTS for 20 years, perhaps longer. Until the last several years, I felt like what happened here literally saved my life, and I thanked the site in kind. My stories never garnered much attention in readership, votes or comments. It hurt like hell to have that happen. I put my heart and soul into those stories. I will say that my writing provided a way to vent that I needed.
A few years ago, perhaps before Covic, I had been reading a story called something like "Pretend Princess", or "Fake Princess". Today, I remembered it and tried to use the BCTS search engine to find it so I could see if there were further chapters. The search engine indicated that it had "timed out", whatever that is. There had been a few chapters but it stopped, uncompleted. I can't remember the name of the author. I wonder what to do now?
Written by Barbara Allan, "The White Wolf".
I thought I had read it years ago, but don't find evidence of it. I got part way through Ch. 1 but it hits too close to home. It seems to be a good story. The grammar is not perfect.
The story alludes to the idea of Native American Two Spirit, and their flavor of spiritualism. It explores the Native American philosophy about animals.
I'm trying to avoid involvement in gender switch writing or stories. Two or Three decades of that is more than too much.
Reading another of Anne McCaffery's tales, Sassenach Pirate Planet where a senior female naval officer in a space fleet attends a dinner in what seems to be described as a Victorian era ball gown. As one might expect, the different space vessels use present day Naval designations Interesting. And they are using FTL propulsion. All this makes for fun fiction but is impossible by present day standards.
Often, when I click on a link from the NYT, or one of the UK papers, I'll get a pop up about having an Ad Blocker, and them requiring me to jump through a bunch of hoops. So far, just ignoring them and exiting out of that page allows me to go on my merry way. I normally use KOIN for local news and weather, but if I try to use other local internet TV web sites I get the same pesky issue. I've never knowingly signed up for an Ad Blocker. What a crock of nonsense !
This story was in my Internet History when I started my computer this afternoon. I have no recollection of reading it recently, so when I checked, I read 4 chapters of it a decade ago, even commenting. Then suddenly the author just stopped and there are no further entries in this story or blog. It was a good story. I would have enjoyed more.
Just tried to post a new Short Story at about 5:00PM, 3/24/2024. I do not see it on the Home Page. I'll go check on some things and then attempt to post it ONE more time and then stop. I will try to see if I failed to do something or it is a site issue.
I didn't want to intrude again on EOF's discussion. I don't understand how my computer keeps running. It is at least 8 years old and is a very linty environment since I live just across the hall from the laundry room. Despite their best efforts to exhaust all the lint from the building, it still seems to get into my apartment.
I have just finished reading "Beast Master" by Andre Norton, "Tommy, The Trials and Tribulations of a Girl" by Teddy S. and wonder if the two authors are one and the same?
The protagonists in both stories are Navajo and use some Navajo language words. "Na Ta Hey" is one phrase that is common to both stories. The similarity ends there. One story uses gender change and Andre Norton's does not. Though Andre Norton used more than one pen name. When she first started writing she used a male name to overcome prejudice against female authors.
Was just looking at the comment on the story Acidailia 16. I viewed the traffic of some of the other chapters and am surprised that after being treated with such neglect by readers that the author would even bother. When a writer gets no encouragement, why continue? I get it.
I woke up this morning with my vision being very bad. I am trying not to panic. I already ordered a large print and braille sign for my apartment door. I am hoping that my upcoming eye surgery helps but am really starting to doubt the doctors.
For years when my computer booted, 'Facebook' automatically loaded and I used it quite a lot. Recently the owner of that site has been sued for damaging children and had to testify in one of the US Government houses.
A day or so ago my computer would suddenly load without it and it has been quite enjoyable.''
Last night, between 12:00 and 5:00 AM PST. my computer went down and it took several restarts and things. Was it the Internet in general or some fault of my Computer?
First: I have been guilty of that which I complain about and now see the error of my ways.
When entering your author name on a story it is easier to navigate if you have carried through with some consistency. I understand that there are several Authors that use more than one name. I have three though primarily use "Gwen Brown".
To dispel my own irritation, here are some important definitions:
Space is anywhere outside the Earth's atmosphere.
Deep Space is outside this Solar System.
Galaxy is a generally spiral shaped collection of stars and other matter that is thought to orbit around a Black Hole. The number of stars in our Galaxy is thought to be in the billions. At light speed, Scientists say that it would take 200,000 years to cross it.
The Universe has unnumbered Galaxies in it. Our own Galaxy is thought to be in a group of Galaxies that occupy the Lanea kea group.
