Too lazy to dress properly to ride my bike, so I just stayed in my Ankle length A line skirt, a top, with a pretty flowery Jacket, and of course HELMET. Of course my ebike has a drop frame, so my exhibitionistic efforts were not as blatant as I had hoped. I went into a market for some goodies, and a woman told me she had not seen a woman in a skirt on a bike since Amsterdam. :)
Later after the market, I was struggling to get on my bike and a man rushed up to catch me if I fell. He said, "Salaam Alaikum" to me and I responded with "Alaikum Salaam and Shukran". As I rode off, I got a bit wobbly and exclaimed with "Yallah". That's almost all the Arabic that I know.
And no I was not part of those who recently attacked the Jews.

Is not necessarily being anti-Semitic. Netanyahu is pursuing this war for his own ends and so are Fatah. The blatant disregard for the Palestinian people should disgust every humane person.
Worse Than a Washing Machine
I don't purport to understand a single thing about the Levant. It is cultural diarrhea. Only YAWEH, God, Allah SWT knows what's going on and they aren't sharing it. We think that Hamas attacked first, but maybe it was going on for more than 50 years and the Jews lost patience. It is criminal that the civilians are caught up in it. Yallah !!!
Biking kit
Should be: whatever one is wearing at the time, provided a skirt guard or other (rational!) precautions are taken. Well done for that.
