Sad End For A Lovely Girl

I've written a very sad short story that is partially true. It could be triggering to some. If you do what this girl was doing, I hope that you are triggered.

I've been out, post op, and living this way for 15 years. For me, when the sun goes down, I am inside. I rarely do bars, even in supposedly safe areas. I haven't gotten confronted, and most people I meet think I am "The Church Lady".

I did try some sexual activity very early on, but then I went through HIV tests. They were negative and I decided that would not happen again unless we were in love and had been tested. At 72, I seem to have lost my charm.

Be Careful. Be Smart.

Merry Christmas

Gwen

PS. If you want to find out more, the story is in the Portland, Oregon area news.
