Well, it's been two weeks since I posted my first story here, and I've been very excited and happily surprised by the kind feedback and encouragement in the comments from my readers :)

I had no idea that my attempt at storytelling would be read by over a thousand people, but there you have it! That's just amazing!

I started posting when I had about six chapters already written, and then went on posting every other day as I continued with my mini-novel. Sure, my buffer of finished material has shrunk a little, but I have notes and complete scenes to wrap up the last two unfinished chapters in time, I believe :)

Now for the bad news. Well, not bad bad, just amusing and ironic.

So. I got Civilisation V on a three-quarters off Steam sale, thinking this ought to teach me something about world-building and culture, right? Right? No! The only thing it taught me was how to lose time! All of my time! Where did it go~? :)

Oh, well! Fortunately, my attention span isn't great enough for me to get stuck playing that for too long. I'm having too much fun writing to ... play... just another turn or two. Huh. What was I saying?
