I live about 75 miles north of Tampa, Florida and we have had rain since about 3 am, now at 7 pm we have had about 11 or 12 inches depending on how I read my make shift rain gage.
On October 18 Casey Brooke wrote and posted Svala which started me rereading her stories and her stories I have not read. I just wanted to give a shout out to so many great stories and if you are looking for hours of reading check them out.

It's just plain wrong to come out to car in Florida and have your windshield frosted over, who even owns an ice scraper anymore. The sun is out and still struggling to get over 50. The weather people promise even colder by end of the week.
I know their are some of you who would love to have a 50 day but hey this is Florida. :-)

Had to have a stimulator removed that they put it 7 years ago, battery stopped and I found out it wasn't doing anything so rather replacing the battery I just had it removed. All went well other than it feel like someone stabbed me as it was a deep cut not a big cut. They had to find the leads and pull them out. Other than being soar I am OK today.
Now it is Florida's turn for a cat 4 or 5 Hurricane, I live north of Tampa on the west coast and my boys live Ft Lauderdale area we are going to be hit with a major storm on Saturday. All the store shelf's are empty gas lines and all roads north bumper to bumper.

Did North Carolina not learn from Indiana when they tried this last year ? The big corporations are already are looking into scaling down their expansion plans .
The next questions are they going to hire people to check your birth certificate when going to the restroom who is going to look up your skirt ? What are they going to do follow you into a stall ? How do you enforce this law ? What are the fines going to be ?
I just got home from surgery on my left leg that I broke last year , this is surgery number 4 . I had screws that needed to come out before they broke as it is it was causing a lot of pain by moving in the bone causing a hole to form.
I am OK but back to using a walker for awhile at least I am not in a wheelchair .
My oldest son who has a Masters in accounting and is A C P A just got a 15% increase in salary plus a large enough bonus to put a down payment on a house .
My younger son has his own pool business

I friend of mine just lost her 32 Y O niece to a robbery , she was stabbed they got her to the hospital and surgery and she died of her injuries a week later. You never know when your last day is going to be , so very sad .

We have been having rain now for 2 weeks , A low has parked over us and rain fall is NUTS, 6 inches plus per day in so of our locals
Rivers are at flood stage and this is sandy Florida where rain just going in to the ground . We are looking at 3 or 4 more days of rain at 70% plus each day

Jazz is a transgender teen mtf who has the good fortune to have parents who have been supportive since she came out as a toddler .
Jazz has grown to be a Beautiful well rounded young Woman .
