last weekend there was a post about no stories being posted . Everyday on the right hand side of the home page scroll down and there is a random authors list . I check this everyday and there are some very good older stories and some 1 time only stories that are very good reading , so someone goes to the effort to post them and we need to give them a look see.

I just finished reading LAND OF MY HEART BY Browen Welsh . I feel the need to post that if you have not read this story you need to give it a look .
The story starts with a young boy in Britain called "A Foreign Country" and the adventures there in to becoming a 50's Woman in the Australian out back .
VERY GOOD READ but you must start at the first story. KUDOS to Author .

Nice to see new member on BCTS . Welcome to our family.

Yesterday I had a Dentist visit to have my first tooth extracted at age 66 not bad . I spent almost 2 1/2 hours with the dentist drilling , pulling and drilling some more then pulling and so on finally she called it quits ( I was very happy ) . Now we leave the tooth rest and she said the roots should push up on there own . Round 2 is scheduled for 3/27 I hope it come out then so I can put it under my pillow and see what the tooth fairy leaves me to help pay the bill .
I am OK other than I look I a Chip-muck named Alvin.

Well we buried Jimmy yesterday . He is no longer in pain after his Motorcycle crash 2 years ago . I got to meet his children and Grandchildren . His younger daughter not only lost her dad BUT her husband got the call that his DAD died the same morning . What are the odds of losing 2 important people on the same day .

random act of kindness

All is well other than a large amount of bleeding overnight and a trip to Doctors office for a clean wrap . Next week when the stitches come out I get a cast almost up to my knee "whoopee joy" for 4 or 5 weeks . Sponge baths at the sink again . Thank to all for the kind words and thoughts . This past April I had a accident at home (yes with a ladder) and broke my ankle almost ripping my foot off (it was close) now this Wednesday I will have the third surgery to repair my foot . The Doctor is breaking my foot to construct a new arch . I will need 1 more surgery to complete the repairs, but they can't do all the work as it is too much trauma to the body . The broken bones from April still have not healed completely OUCH
This at least will be out patient and only 8 to 10 weeks in a cast double OUCH.

We have so of the must wonderful Author ever . I send P M's to the authors about the stories and always get a response and a big heart felt thank you from them . First that I take the time to thank them for the time and effort to write & post and second they our honored that I take the time to read the stories they work so hard writing.
I just sent Mary Beth Sanford a thank you for posting stories . I had sent her a email on her personal email account and was so excited that she read my email and listened to me about posting here at BCTS .

VERY SAD DAY TODAY . I had to put my best buddy HERSHEY to rest today . He has had Cushing Disease for the last 2 years and the last 2 days he crashed we took him to the Vet and found out he lost 17 pounds in 6 weeks . He no longer had a good quality of life . I had him from 10 weeks old found him at the Humane Society fell in love at first site to a little black Lab/Pit Bull/plus a few other thing mixed in a heart of gold. Long live the Memory of HERSHEY . :-( BIG TEARS - BROKEN HEART .

I would like all my friends to know that 41 years ago today I married my bride TRISSA at the age of 19 . We have 2 boys that we are very proud of and 41 years married only 9 more for the GOLD

We have so great writer on BCTS and as of late there has been a shortage of stories from some of our regular writers and some of the long stories with multi chapters that never got finished. I know real life gets in the way of fun and I as a non writer should not complain BUT maybe I can get some new stories started from some semi retired writers
