Sometimes, I have trouble believing that suicide is never an option. And once again, just the other day, I found myself considering suicide as a viable option because of a laundry list of reasons. First of all, I don’t have anything in my life to fall back on. I don’t have anything to throw myself into in order to dull the pain and help me forget-for a little while at least. In particular, my job prospects are bleak, as they have been for quite some time. There’s no way to sugarcoat it.

So, apparently when I was saying there were 8 chapters to Donna I was wrong. Somehow I duplicated chapter 4 and what I posted today I had as chapter 6. So, there are only 3 chapters left to this short tale.

Alternately, I've started up with My name is David again. Seriously considering posting there again, but putting up a spoiler alert the next 4 days.

The VA has decided I have PTSD and that the military caused it. I am 70% Disabled. I have mixed feelings ... I am happy; I feel vindicated. I am slightly depressed; I did not want to be taumatized and live with the results of the abuses I have experienced.

I am thankful for the rating. My medical coverage is completely covered by the VA now. So there are silver linings in these emotional times.

Wow, I did not realize how much stress I was carrying.

First off, I want people to know that I am feeling better. Yesterday was me going through some things that sometimes crop up. That memory has always been a part of me, but I haven't reflected on it in a long time and all of a sudden it wanted to be dealt with. When you aren't prepared for something, it can throw you for a loop.

I am back on track. I am loving my life and looking forward to a future, one that might even require me changing my name (both first and last).

I also have hit some milestones that I would like to share.

of all the ways I could lose my brother and sister in law, if this little tiff turns out to be the end of our relationship, well, its a pretty pathetic end.

Well, I went to my interview with Target, and it didnt go like I expected at all. I was interviewed twice by two different pairs of people, and then basically hired on the spot - I have a tentative employment with them starting the beginning of March. So now, I have a decision to make - go with them, or stay with Wal-mart?

So yesterday was not a good day for me in terms of my emotions.

I am back and working on some ideas for Through the years and I was wondering a simple question. Does anyone recall the cut off age that someone had to be under to join the military in 1983-1984? Would be the reserves, but I just wondered what the age is. I know it is 42 now, but not sure about 30 years ago. Also would they take someone after that age if they had been in service just a decade earlier, even if they are over the age limit by say a year?

I wonder if someone could help me find a story on here about a young boy who was injured in a taxi wreck ,and his life afterwards I read it once but lost the thread,& being old & forgetful I cant remember the title nor the Authors name anyone??

I would like to say that because of the IOC decision to remove wrestling from the Olympics that I will not be posting any parts of the story this weekend, but that would be a lie (but would make it sound like I have ethics).

OK, I know I asked about this befor, I think. The thing is that I sometimes have problems keeping my thoughts straight, so perhaps I would not remember if someone had helped me, perhaps.

I've been putting this off for a few days now, simply because I didn't know how to say it.

Hey folks. I have a quick note on Being Christina Chase. It seems that some people thought chapter 46 was the last chapter. It's not.

every once in a while, I read a non-trans story that makes me feel like putting on a tinfoil hat, because the author has caught my emotions perfectly, even while talking about something else.

I had commented on a post by my friend Aurelia saying I couldnt even pretend to be normal, and this was her response:

So, I just went into a fast food place in a town of about 25,000 in a very conservative part of Texas. Heading to the loo, I saw a women's room, but there was a sign placed over the usual "men's" plaque on the other door. On the sign, in magic marker, was the word "UNISEX".
I was impressed. This sign makes it possible for trans people to use the toilet safely. In a small country burg.
But, there's still a ways to go for full equality. I can't help but think of all those poor male BI-sexuals.

I need help for my most recent story. Well, technical help. My protagonist is essentially a she-male (I know many hate the term, but I don't know a better one) and I figure he'd have troubles wearing girls' jeans. I need to know if you can actually squeeze your nuts if you don't do it right and what you need to do to avoid it.

The site was up and down frequently today, the problem finally turned out to be a badly behaving server on the same subnet with us at the server farm, not one of our servers. Sheesh!

It's almost 2 years. Where as the time gone since I joined this site. I never intended to write just to visit for a while and read a few stories. I liked some of the stories that I'd read so I had a go myself. I don't know how many hours of enjoyment I've had and I've always had help and guidance. i look at the stories that had the most hits and the ones that had the most comments and especially the ones with the most hits. I guess my style is popular with some and not with others. I only had one hurtful comment in all my postings that was nothing to lose sleep about.

It is with great sadness that I pass on the news of Draflow's passing on to his next great mission.

Wrestling Against Myself is a different kind of story for me, one that I openly share my theology in. It is no secret that Tony/Tiny is modeled after my high school male self minus the TG and weight issues. I had someone who got upset about me sharing my doctrine, especially the belief who goes to heaven and who goes to hell.

Now the US military has to properly recognize the transgendered.

I often wondered why I had to go through a lot of the things that I did. It seemed that the universe thought that I was some cosmic joke and used me as it's whipping boy. Between abuse and a lack of permanence, I thought that chaos reigned in the universe and there was nothing I could do about it. I hated myself for complaining about my life, because there were others that had it way worst.

I don't anymore and I hope this could be an encouragement to a few.

I've been thinking and praying a lot today, and I've decided I'm going to continue my transition, the rejection by my brother and sister-in-law notwithstanding. Maybe that makes me a "selfish bitch" in my sister-in-laws words, but it has to be done. I love them, and my heart aches that they think this transition somehow hurts them, but I have to seek wholeness.

Caelarus was a very interesting and sometimes romantic story. I would say that the level of plausability is very high. It is 190 pages; a full book, not what some people who sell e books call them. I think the writing was very good in spite of the fact that I sometimes struggled to see who was talking.

There are lots of different settings and several Sci Fi theories that bear some thought.

I tried doing some writing again today and didn't get very far. Just sitting down and looking at the word document gave me a gut deep sense of revulsion. Like looking a mountain of house work when all you really want to do is something fun, only stronger. A real sense of repugnance for the whole thing. Has anyone else ever had that kind of feeling when they tried to write?

Made it home,safe and sound. For those who was going to travel across the USA and go from either Emeryville to Chicago, or Chicago to Emeryville, I recommend Amtrak. I learned many things, like Ottumwa, Iowa is a real town. I always thought it was made up for MASH. Boy was I wrong.

The trip had one bad note, I left my phone in my dad's van and realized it as he go on the highway, so he has to mail it to me now. But other then that, I am home and time to go to bed and relax.

Well, I came home this morning to a message from my sister saying my brother was hurt by the reaction of my friends on facebook and by my not jumping to his defense. So I did the only thing I could do - I sent a loving response, and then took my dog for a walk outside in my prettiest skirt, just because I could. I'm not going to let them pull me down anymore. I love them, but I need to keep myself healthy first and foremost.

Okay for part two I am going to concentrate on the speed up options, mostly for the win7 and vista users.
