I was talking with Kylie today, and she mentioned that she talks about me with just about everyone she knows - her therapist, her floor monitor, her friends - and when she does, she blushes. I find this idea, that the thought of me making someone blush to be hard to wrap my head around. But there you have it. Neat, no?

It probably doesnt come as a shock to anybody who reads this blog that I dont handle stress terribly well. Most of the time, between having gender issues, PTSD, and bunch of other letters that basically mean I'm broken, my plate is full, andthey are as much as I can handle.

I was idly checking things today and decided to check my account just to make sure things were as they should be. Then I scrolled to the bottom to see that I'd been given over twelve thousand Kudos. I'm humbled.

I had been hoping to have the chapters of my DRU stories and Winter's Child ready by Saturday but being off my hormones and anti-anxiety medications for the past three weeks has been making it harder and harder to concentrate. I had hoped that the end was in sight with me being able to get my medical coverage sorted out tomorrow but on Friday afternoon I got an email from my Aunt's lawyer telling me that she has died and I need to return to my hometown for the will reading.

It has been awhile since i last posted and i do apologize, alot has been happening in my life in the last while, that prevents me from doing much more then reading blogs.

Regrettably chapter 80 of Somewhere Else Entirely will be delayed...

I've written 5,000 words so far and just realized that I have put the cart before the, er, dranakh.

Artistic license is one thing but if I see another outright lie that new cars are safer compared to old ones I'll get really really nasty.

What's in a name?

I've noticed that as of late the reposting of several stories on BC. How long should one wait before a repost is done. The reason I ask is that I'm tempted to run the Show Me the Money series. Funny thing is that I decided to read the story myself. I hadn't visited it for five years, since posting it, and forgot what a lovely story it is and to be honest forgot most of the characters in the story, and I wrote it. Oh well old age will do that to you, Arecee

I'm feeling very paranoid today because of something my mother said this morning. I was about to tell her something amazing that I had found out last night. I said, ''You'll never guess what I found out last night!'' and she replied, ''That you are really a boy?'' with a slight smile. That got me worried. It's probably nothing but it's just the way she said it that made me paranoid. It was as if she knew something. Bleagh. I hope she doesn't.

Managed to get that chapter done and posted. Took a lot longer than it should of, but health concerns are a pain in the tuckus and hold up many a project. So hopefully I can get back to juggling stories and get caught up on things. We'll see. Just letting you all know that I'm gonna try but I have a new Tegan book taking up my time as is Written In The Body. I will be doing what I can until those are out and done. Just a heads up, but things should be better now, as I am feeling a good bit better and can write more. Enjoy.

I’m saddened by how few people know the writing of Zenna Henderson. Her books and stories were a combination of non-technical sci-fi, psychic powers like magic, deep spirituality and strong emotional resonance. Although she did not write TG fiction, she wrote often of what it feels like to be the outsider, to be miserably alone and then to find a community of people like yourself. For that reason she may be of interest to BCTS readers.

Last year, I came across a book about what makes a hero a hero, and a villain a villain, and what the differences really are. Ok, I lost the link to the book and was wondering if anyone here has, perchance, seen it? Basically, who is the greater good person, the hero that accidentally floods the valley and lets a few innocents die, or the villain who saves the people but makes the hard decisions on who to save? Call thenm the arrogant hero and the tragic villain. There are so many writers here, there must be an answer somewhere, just need to keep looking :P

It is finished. Well, almost finished. I summed up my arguments against trans-sexuality being a sin. Now I want to give an accurate description of your average transsexual because I think society at large doesn't have a clue. I should be done the end of this week and need to edit. Well, last night, we had Easter dinner with the family, and my sister-in-law said some interesting things. First, she basically put aside the work I've been doing trying to recover the memories of my rape and its association to my gender issues, saying such memories have been added to and subtracted from over the years to the point they are not reliable.

I usually don't make my life's frustrations public, but sometimes it just feels like the world is working against you. To add to my growing depression and frustration at my inablility to do any writing lately (I have at least 5 projects in various stages of being written, but last night my computer's main hard drive had a catastrophic failure. I had just cleared the secondary drive to move stuff there to free up space, but it was late and "I could do it tomorrow." The loss is immeasurable and among the causalties were the "source" files of several stories.

Well, with all the confusion I had at my house yesterday, I forgot to mention it was Tels' birthday, So Happy birthday, sis!

just seem to be multiplying!

Sorry folks, got watching part 1 of Labyrinth by Kate Mosse and the night just disappeared. Part 2 is tomorrow but I shall try to do Bike early or late. I have an early bike ride tomorrow and the clocks go forward overnight, so that's an hour off my beauty sleep - and believe me I need all the help I can get in the beauty department.

Had one of those stressful days. Dealing with Kaiser over meds and it's only a fraction of what's coming under Obama care, fighting with a supplier as to why my delivery didn't come today even though it was promised and the other delivery where the driver couldn't understand english. Said to myself, I'm going to have a drink even though I haven't allowed the devils brew to cross my lips for weeks. Not a good idea, well actually it was but now I can't write for crap.

Lately, I have been seeing several words on any story I'm reading that appear as "Links". I thought this was a new advertising strategy and have not objected. Well, now it's appearing on other sites and one user has suggested that I have a "bot" or something. So are the rest of you seeing this or its it strictly my issue.

Ok, I find myself needing help here.

I'm stunned. I the last week, I've gone from a bit over 1000 kudos to over 1400.

Yeah, I posted 5 stories/chapters, but even so. That first thousand took years.

Still seems unreal though.

So having gotten moved into my girl lair, I decided to buy some speakers for my computer, no more ear phones !!!! Yayyyyyyy.

YES! My head has stopped hurting as much and ideas are starting to flow and I already have over 1k written for the next chapter. It is moving slowly but surely in the direction of getting completed. So yes, story is moving towards getting done and I am not dying due to my head exploding. Life is good.

many of you may not be old enough to remember a TV mini-series called "Shogun". The series was interesting for one reason - when the main character finds himself marooned in Japan before Japan had much if any contact with the west, they showed the first couple of episodes without translation - no subtitles, no voice dubs, the Japanese spoke Japanese, and the audience was to be drawn into the main character's confusion.

Looking for fairly old story...youngest son protected from conquering neighbor who killed his father and brother. Protection by palace wizard changing him into youngest daughter.

I've done writing! Yay!
