I've sorta been ... obsessing ... about seeing a therapist in a few days. There were just lots of stuff ... I don't know the name of the stuff ... but it was filling me up to overflowing. And then, I became disconnected from the stuff, but it sorta ... kept going without me. And that stuff somehow turned into the song below. I'm still feeling disconnected, and I'm not sure if I can make sense of the song, but I sorta just needed to say what's in this song, because ... I'm not sure. It just feels like something that really needs to say. Umm ...

So, I found some poetry that I wrote last year, and it lit a spark to write more, and I have an idea for a story!

My question is : I'm toying with including song lyrics at the beginning of each chapter, but am not sure on the best way to format it. I was thinking of doing it as part of chapter titles, similar to a subtitle. Or using it to start the beginning of each chapter. I want to use it to draw readers in.

If anyone has ideas...

In the dream, there was a dark place, lit by a few spotlights. Someone was dancing from light to light. I heard a musicbox playing, and a group of women singing. I don't remember all the lyrics, but here's what I was able to hold onto when I woke up.

Beautiful dancer, dancing in my dreams.
Beautiful dancer, all's not what it seems.
Beautiful dancer, dancing in my heart.
Beautiful dancer, dancing every part,
Except for the part, written just for you.

They are ALL waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge and lately, I find myself a bit anxious to get there. No, I don't want to die, but I miss my lost furry ones SO much sometimes.

Just finished watching a PBS special about 50 years ofPeter Paul and Mary and got thinking about all those years behind me. Mary, of course, died in 2009 but Peter and Paul are still going strong.

Some of you will know it already. Not directly about gender, but about truth and appearance. It is by the English poet, John Masefield.

An Epilogue

Just a little drable, that takes its birth under my fingers:

Today I feel so lonely,
so lonely I could die,

hug me my friend, I miss you.

A very long time ago, when i was just admitting to myself who i am, i scrawled out these lines.

I've never felt like I belong in this world, but I've never found one I do belong to .. I walk around in this world, lost...wandering in a world I didn't come from...living a life I didn't want...who am I? Where is my home? Where are my people hiding?....did the people of this world kill them? Am I the last or the first of my kind? Or....are there more out there like me....wandering, lost and confused wondering where I am?

I never thought that my life could have improved,
You came into my life all the sadness has been removed.

My deepest desire is to take it all back,
make it so none of this ever happened.

So I went to write my narrative (for my secret shop today), and out came this instead....

Once upon a time there was a small child, and like all children do they dreamed there dreams and played there games, But something was different, this child didn't play the games that other People thought they should, they didn't act the way others thought they should. The Child didn't know they were different, other children played the games they played and dreamed the dreams they did, If others could then why can't I.
