I miss the days together
when the sun would light our days
To hear our children's laughter
When they run and play

as I visit you often and its always the same
I yearn for the day to come
when we can be together again
To touch your face, to hold your hand
To see your smile as we walk in the sand

Our children grow they smile and laugh
till we think about the past
A picture hangs on the wall for all to see
One of four now a family of three

Each day I pray for strength to make one more day
to give them hope and to pray
to watch them grow until the day
when I can say I missed you and tell you about
their days
