No anything does not go in Texas Never has.
I went to school a district over from that same district and graduated a little over 10 years ago, all I can say is that when it comes to schools the policies are repressive and draconian.
I may not be LGBT but free expression is out in school always has been in the area. Facial hair out, long hair on males out, the list goes on. When a friend of mine wanted to wear a shirt-tux to Prom they turned him away at the entrance. trust me they will find some way to deny this kid from dressing the way he wants because it is not in the dress code. Iget to listen to my little brother gripe about how repressive they are now so the schools have not gotten better since I graduated they have only gotten worse.
