For anyone that is interested I've uploaded updated versions of the eBook (in pdf and epub format) for the final book in my Ragnarok Rising trilogy, Destiny: Legacy of a Spellbinder. The changes are not major, but they are there. The text is now identical to the previous minor revisions already made here on the web version and I've made some changes to the formatting.

I find it incomprehensible that some people can't be decent when commenting or blogging. Remember, when you WRITE something, there is nothing that indicates anything but the WORDS you use. There are no other indicators that could soften the impact of words that appear unkind or severely critical. Normally, when people communicate, there are visual and verbal cues that can soften the impact of words that might otherwise seem unkind. When you write, all there is, is the words.

Earlier this year I wrote a short story entitled ‘Grace.’ Since then I have changed the ending of Chapter 3 and expanded the story. For those of you who are fans of Downton Abby and can’t wait until next season I expect you’ll be able to satisfy your Edwardian itch with Grace.

That is what I have written today.

In terms of digital writing stuff (at least related to TG fiction) this is the most I've written in the last several months.

Well, once again, I've managed to offend a writer.

I find that very frustrating. It's NOT my goal to discourage people or upset people. My posts aren't intended to be attacks.

Just a quick note

Here I am, fairly late at night, had maybe one wine too many, tears streaming down my face as I listen to Phil Collins' "Another Day In Paradise", a song that I love, but it always makes me feel so guilty.

The destitute woman pleads for help and the man pretends he doesn't hear and ignores her. Which of us at some time hasn't done the same? Ignored that desperate plea for help because it was too embarrassing or inconvenient, or too much trouble.

In the wake of our loss, Beverly's mom in law passed rather suddenly as well, just the day before we lost Holly. Beverly is a warm, talented and loving member here and I felt it behooved me to at least make you all aware of this fact.

The story WAKING IN HEAVEN was writen for WREN when she died I keep thes story in my favorites to read when someone passes . The sad part is I know it almost word for word with the amount of our friends that have passed over since the beginning of 2013 .

For those of you considering publishing or have published e-books, especially on Amazon, I have a little bit of advice; advertise.

I had to spew this somewhere, and this seemed the most likely place to do so.

Those of you who started transitioning in the 80's, can you tell me a little about your experience, treatments available, time frames involved and any state requirements (doesn't matter which state). No, I did not discover time travel, I am writing an actual transgendered woman into Angel and would like to know what was different vs what's available now. Thank you for your help.

This is nothing but an observation on the state of TG Fiction today.

I don't believe in muses, writing is a cerebral thing and it's something I've always done. I've written Bike most days for the past six years to prove to myself it can be done without loads of drama, or special conditions - I just sit there for an hour/ ninety minutes and out pops the next episode. In some ways it's easier than writing from scratch because my characters are well established and I have plot lines I can continue or even pick up from a while back.

It meant a lot to me. I was thrilled to hear from both new friends and old. I've replied to everyone and will continue to do so.

Before I say (write?) anything else, I'd like to extend my thanks publicly to Jaci and Dorothy for allowing me to be part of their crazy little gathering. Yes, folks, I actually survived an online conversation with those two. Though I have to say my participation was mainly limited to laughing hysterically at their antics--more, in fact, than I believe I've done in a long time.

It's almost like Birthday - I've been a registered user on this site now for Six Years and One Day - That excludes about two years being a guest reader on top that. Richard

Today is the big 70 for me, and all things considered, it beats the heck out of the alternative. Those who knew me as a teen looked at me, shook their heads and said, "That crazy SOB will never see 30". Well to all of them: Raspberries!

I'm still around and going strong, and whats more I've had fun every day of my life. Though I gripe and bluster a bit on occasion, What's the point of being 70 if you can't be a little curmudgeonly once and a while? But I want you all to know that I love and respect everyone here and that you are all my adopted family.

So, since my SRS in August of 2007, dilation has been painful and icky to the point that I eventually just abandoned it for like years!

As we probably all know, Google regularly likes to pay homage to pop culture. They've had a bit of Whoniverse fun recently with StreetView.

I wanted to say a special thank you to all of you who have blogged or posted stories here or on BTCS's sister sites. In the 3 years that I have been visiting BCTS I have read a lot in order to better understand myself and other people's orientations.

I don't blog much but I was looking at my stories list since I had some more hits and kudos.

The Getty Museum has begun scanning and placing their collection of artwork that is Public Domain online. That means there are a lot of neat pieces of art that may be used free without seeking permission from them to use it. They ask that you credit them for scanning it in your notes. I know a lot of individuals look for artwork for their stories here, so I thought I would share. You would definitely need to resize the images from their current size to use though (easy with Gimp or Photoshop). Anyway, here's the link to their press release, and a link to the gallery!

I just had a shocking conversation with my mom. I was on the phone with Jaci, and apparently my mom remembers me coming home from school in a dress at age 13 and doing a little twirl for her. For some reason, this is making me tear up ...

I haven't posted a story in what seems life forever. Sure, I posted a poem a little while ago, but that's not the same thing. Rest assured, I am in the middle of a grand work. It is 180k words and still going strong (I don't look forward to editing).

When I don't post new things, sometimes I go back and look at comments and reviews from old stories. And since I sold a small boatload of God Bless the Child books last week I decided to check out the reviews for smiles sake.

Today is our own Maggie Finson's Birthday! Happy B-Day Maggie and may all of your Birthday wishes come true!

I'm re-watching the movie "Labyrinth", and it occurs to me how necessary it was that the protagonist be a girl. I mean, the whole movie only works because its a girl doing the adventure. What do you think?

After reading SamanthaMD's story about a girl and a motorcycle and reading the comments, I wonder how many readers rode or still ride motorcycles? I know I mentioned that I ride on several occasions, but I'd like to know other readers that did the same.

Hi everyone!

First off, I want to kill my cat at times. I love Pepper, so named because as a kitten it looked like someone put pepper on her hose,but she drives me crazy.

I've posted a new story, Cynthia and the Solicitous Sisters-In-Law, Part 1. The story will be in three parts. I played with the idea of posting it all at once because it is quite short - only 14,500 words; however, decided to do it this way. The action picks up considerably in the next part. I think there may be a message in the story; however, at the moment, I'm not too sure what it is.
