OK, I've healed up enough the doc wants to do it again and fix it. He apparently wants to charge me more, I am very angry with him at the moment, and also at myself. I did not ask enough questions.

I am an egotistical person. I know that. You know that. People who never met me assume that. So, what does an egotistical person do? The put their name in google and search for themselves. And, that's what I did. In my defense, I was looking for reviews of Unreachable. Last week I sold 500 copies (which is a lot for a week) and I was curious if blogs had anything nice (or nasty) to say about me.

I feel like a shameless drama queen tonight and really need a lot of sympathy and hugs. I know I am supposed to be this solid rock "Mom" type, but I'm having a weak moment that is about 9.0 on the Richter scale.

I'm sick, really sick, and don't feel good at all from that damnable flue. This stuff is bloody awful. Strangely, all the actual symptoms have moved on but I am just worn out, tired, discouraged, weepy, and whiny. I have been sleeping more than 12 hours a day and nothing has been getting done. All the dishes are dirty and the other room looks like a pig stye.

I Just got a new job that is to start on the 27th of this month. While was on my to a backup interview just in case something changed in the status of a job then my car died on the way. I am trying to get it towed to a repair place and have it fixed which looks like it was an alternator issue.

I am hoping my sister can help get it towed for me and pay for the repairs until I get a paycheck then buy a another car because this one is in reposession status.

My new job pays well over 60,000 a year but I need the car to last until I get the first check then get another car.

So, before I tackle another major novel I am writing a smaller piece (which will soon get away from me and be a mid sized novel). But, is there any interest in this community to see a mtf/ftm romance. I am currently working on one, but mostly it's so Felix doesn't feel left out of my writing (which he doesn't read anyway, so that goes to show how good of an author I am, I can't get my own BF to read my work).

Well, I have some good news about my foot. My doctor had sent my information to a foot clinic, and I went there today, and the doctor there assured me that the growth isn't cancer, that its just scar tissue, and gave me a steroid shot to help start the healing process. I will need at least a couple more of these shots, one every two weeks, and hopefully, that will be the end of that.

I'm super glad.

It's been about a month and my book, "Heroes of Justice" available on Amazon Kindle has reached my estimate in sales. About 25 have been sold. Of course I hoped for more, but that was my realistic expectation.

An eagle-eyed reader spotted an awkwardness in the previously published distance chart for the Bray/Palar valley.

I have just posted the next segment of Havens Salvation. I am hoping that this is an original story not based on any others work. It is hard to know for sure beings I have read so many stories both here and in other circles but a extensive check of my memory I can not find any thing like this elsewhere.
I am trying to bring the characters alive for my audience giving the people you read about warm flesh and blood reactions to there environment and to each other. You my audience will be the final judge of that.

My wife of 47 years is currently fighting a re-occurance of malignant melanoma, which has metastasized to her brain. In order to combat it the Drs are going to try Brain Surgery. Thru all the discussion etc. they frequently referred to the procedure as SRS surgery. When we got home, wanting to know more about it, she Google d SRS, and was very amused to find that the only references to that she could find were to Sexual Reassignment Surgery, which she does not think she is a candidate for. She finally found it on a medical reference web site as Stereotaxic Radio-graphic Surgery.

I know the reaction to Op Rescue: In Plain Sight has been very significant (judging by comments and kudos). That makes me wonder if the audience as a whole considers this better than, on par with, or less than Op Rescue: New Co-Ed. The main reason I ask is that while New Co-Ed has a lot of hits, it has few kudos. That makes me wonder if it was as good as my latest effort, or worse. Or is it an artifact of posting a link to a PDF file (as opposed to a 450+ page story in the form!) so the kudo button wasn't accessible? Was it because New Co-Ed was too long for most people's tastes?

So I sent in a story to amazon...4 weeks ago. No response yet other than the automated response letting me know they got the submission. I know supposedly they have 2 more weeks or so to go before I'm supposed to worry, but I can't help myself.

To add to this, a fan recently edited RiH 10. The editing job was very well done, very professional and I in no way mean to imply that I don't appreciate it. However the editing did make
clear the astonishing number of grammatical flaws inherent within my writing style... flaws I'm positive the story I submitted a month ago shares.

I have been on (Estrogen) Vivelle dot .1 since they decided that my kidneys and liver were to weak to metabolize the pills.

I hope I don't overstep my bounds, but I would like to offer up a writing challenge for the month.

The title: The Tranny Shop

Well, I am trying to clean up the mess I'm in regarding the accident I had last year, and its not fun.

I am really humbled and in awe at the same time. I am at a loss. My solo story, The Dress Punishment (http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/31054/dress-punishment) just passed 25,000 reads.

They dropped me off at the salon, and I got pampered for 4 hours, which prompted the new photo. So sunday was very nice.

I have now tried in Firefox and IE, but once I log in, the home page no longer shows the options under a heading of my user name. You know the list saying Home, Add A Story, Category Browser, Forums etc etc etc ending with Log Out.

I have to select my name from the list of who's online, or from the authors list, before I get the panel.

Just sayin'

Well, five days into the new year, and its turning into crap already.

I have "sort of" completed a new story and universe. The working title is "Here Be Dragons", I am unsure if I should give it a few days or post "as is" so to speak and make any changes based on your suggestions.

She called to say we should postpone our delayed visit yet again as Winter Storm Ion is gonna be bringing extremely cold (dangerously cold, in fact) arctic air to most of the U.S. Northwest for the coming week.

Ma says the East Coast will not be too affected yet but it's best to stay put here in Manila.

I am asking this here because I know there are geeks on the loose ere.

Today, I realized, Duh, that the internet search protocol on a smart phone is different than that of a computer.

For my readers, I am half finished a new chapter of Alex in Wonderland and 21000 words into Syryn's Song the new Hyperverse story I mentioned in my last blog on Christmas Eve. It's a bit longer than I was expecting so I'll probably have to break it into several stories of which Syryn's Song will be book #1.

I know many here are looking for their favorite serial. Others are looking for a stand alone story.

Misty's story comes first, I posted the fourth chapter of it today. I'll move onto Kelly from there. After that I have a few Non-DRU ideas I've been actively brainstorming and working on.

Ok folks, I'm back. Maybe I have been away too long, but my recent episode of Angel is all centered and I can't figure out why, there are no tags to format it as such. Anyone know what's going on?

Well, I almost lost it in church yesterday. As part of the service, they allowed people to come up to the front, light a candle, and say something they are grateful for. I went up, and thanked the church for their acceptance of me, and barely kept the tears back. Then, after the service I tried to explain what it meant to me that the church treats me like just another woman, and I almost lost it again ...

I am so blessed, yes?
