Looking for a story that I read a few years ago. A pilot, I believe military, undergoes a swap (as part of a global swap) and ends up in the body of a little girl I think in Japan. I remember that she gets attacked by a man early on and escapes. She's taken in by a family. If I remember right, eventually she is reunited with his family. I've searched all the key words I can think of but can't find it. Can anyone help?
Looking for a story. Couple goes to the south west for him to go to grad school. He lives as a woman. They get very involved in native american culture. He's a person with two spirits or something like that. Hoping someone with a better memory than me recognizes the description.
I just reread the two Angel Marquez stories by Paula Dillon. The second ends at Ch 5 here with a "to be continued". Anyone know if this was ever continued elsewhere? Sweet tale.
I'm embarrassed on this request. There was a long story posted recently about a guy who marries his long time sweetheart and moves to Arizona for school. He is of native American ancestry and is a "two spirit" person. Many adventures and accomplishments. I don't think the tale ended and I think I remember the author mentioning health issues. It hasn't been that long but I can't remember the author or full name of the story.
I've got an old Microsoft Surface tablet/laptop to give away. It's the atom CPU version of the Surface 3 so not too exciting but it has a nice display and the "type" keyboard with real keys. Battery takes and holds a charge. Includes power adapter/cord but I don't have the pen.
Would appreciate a pledge to cover shipping costs (probably around $12). US only unless you want to cover international shipping cost.
I can't believe I can't remember the name of author of this one.
Character catches his wife unfaithful and leaves - changes to true self on the way and ends up in a small town by the sea. (something like Penistone?) Finds true love, lots of cats, inherits riches....
I was surprised to see a pretty large ad for Liberty University on BC today. As far as I know, Liberty University is an ultra conservative religious place that I can't imagine being LGBT friendly. On the other hand, I'm happy to see their money supporting this site.
I have an original Microsoft Surface Pro to give away. Caution - the battery will not take any charge and is EXTREMELY difficult to replace so it's only usable when plugged in. Includes power supply and type cover (keyboard). Seems to work perfectly except for the dead battery. First to PM me with a name and address in the US gets it.
As an impromptu experiment I just tried "Reading Mode" in the Edge browser on Windows 10. Was reading the daily dormouse and thought that I'd see if it made it easier. Wow! Does a great job of just showing the article frame full screen. More like using an ereading device. However, it does not keep keep all of the text on the screen if I stretch the font. Oh well, I guess I take what I can get.
Win 10 seems to be a worthwhile install if you've got a Win 8 computer and probably if you have Win 7.
I usually remember stories pretty well but this one has something to do with a special forces type who rescues a girl from druggies somewhere in central or south america. He kills one (the leader?) on an old stone altar of some kind and the sacrifice/blood awakens a god who changes him....
Kentucky students using sex-segregated bathrooms and locker rooms could win $2,500 if they catch a member of the excluded biological sex there, under proposed legislation
The bill’s sponsor, Republican state Sen. C.B. Embry, tells U.S. News the measure may need modification. He says he wouldn’t want teens to stage incidents to win payouts.
I must be getting old. Can't remember author or title of a relatively recent story. Officer on a ship is transformed into a women and marooned on a planet (and pregnant as part of the transformation). Native of the planet sees her covered with butterflies and thinks she is a spirit. Searches for her.
Nothing related to TG but I know there are quite a few UK authors and users on this site. Have to laugh at this one. London skyscraper "melting" parked cars.... "The skyscraper's developers said they were seeking to rectify the problem which they blamed on the position of the sun at certain times of day." Hmmmm.... Sure, blame it on the sun. It's clearly out to get them. Perhaps a lawsuit against that pesky star? Perhaps it's something they might have anticipated. I don't think the sun has changed it's route across the sky recently.
It refers to a longer article in the washington post on "Transgender at five". That one is a very intersting story that could just as easily show up here. Hope all goes well for the little kid.
I've posted chapter 17 of Amanda's Eyes on Fictioneer. As before, no tg content but a good dose of teen angst and romance. Some here have shown interest.
I've posted Chapter 13 of Amanda's Eyes on Fictioneer. There was some interest here so I wanted to let you know. No tg content. Sorry for the long delay.
