I've got an old Microsoft Surface tablet/laptop to give away. It's the atom CPU version of the Surface 3 so not too exciting but it has a nice display and the "type" keyboard with real keys. Battery takes and holds a charge. Includes power adapter/cord but I don't have the pen.
Would appreciate a pledge to cover shipping costs (probably around $12). US only unless you want to cover international shipping cost.

Good for you. I need to do that with some of my older laptops/netbooks. I sent computer equipment once, but the recipient didn't send the shipping funds (and is now deceased). Hopefully better luck the next time I do so.

Well in theory it is until the fees went sky high.
Still, it may allow the conversion of assets to cash, cash that some people don’t have.
If it weren't for the number of people here who need it more,
