So I sent in a story to amazon...4 weeks ago. No response yet other than the automated response letting me know they got the submission. I know supposedly they have 2 more weeks or so to go before I'm supposed to worry, but I can't help myself.
To add to this, a fan recently edited RiH 10. The editing job was very well done, very professional and I in no way mean to imply that I don't appreciate it. However the editing did make
clear the astonishing number of grammatical flaws inherent within my writing style... flaws I'm positive the story I submitted a month ago shares.
So now I'm going pretty crazy.

I know it's hard waiting for a deadline which is so far away, and where the response could come at any time.
But try not to worry yourself so much. At least for now it's out of your hands.
And if the worst comes to worst, well what then? Maybe thinking more on that for a minute will give you some peace?

I was more thinking that because of the errors (possibly a sea of red ink) the powers that be in amazons' kindle army might just circular file the story as being unworthy of being published.
I hope that isn't the case, but you never can tell with editors.

Kindle and errors
don't worry too much about them. Amazon has a means of senting out updated versions of books already sold by them to the Kindles they are uploaded on. I know that one of my Katie Leone and one of my Karen Bishop books got updated recently. Hell, as far as I can determine, EVERY single book I have downloaded on my Kindle has typo's and other errors in them.
