I am really humbled and in awe at the same time. I am at a loss. My solo story, The Dress Punishment (http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/31054/dress-punishment) just passed 25,000 reads.

I don't know how it happened. I don't know who keeps reading the story. It isn't even the case where I've sat at my computer and reloaded the story over and over (but I bet I count for 50 reads from checking comments).

The Dress Punishment was one of those stories that I didn't plan on writing. It was just a funny idea that popped into my head and it came at a time when I wasn't writing anything new. I remember thinking of the story premise and chuckling to myself. The original idea was to have a story in two parts. The first part was to make people think it was a force fem story and then get people to blast me for that because that isn't what Big Closet readership normally goes for. The second part was to be the joke, and people would see that it wasn't a forced fem story after all. For the first time, things worked out where I didn't have more parts but less and it became a standalone.

Over the months I've been watching the numbers grow (I'm really anal that way, ask Felix). I was watching it climb up my most read list and then I watched as it passed some other well read stories. I know it won't be the most read story on the site, but I am still proud that it reached such a lofty height and it did so without padding the numbers. (I didn't reload the story for hits and I did name stories so they appeared right before it to give it artificial hits).
