So after a prolonged illness that resolved in a triple bipass and now recovery I'm back to writing again.
Several blockages and low BP issues had me compounding ills with fluid making it hard to breathe, then getting three flu bouts and adding that to not being able to sleep...everything snowballed rather insanely but this are better.
Well getting better.
Which is good considering all the stuff with covid we're all facing.
A HUGE TY goes out to all my friends here and well wishers too, you all helped.
I've been pretty sick the last couple of weeks. Nothing serious but heavy dose of the flu then a cold right after and between that and Work being busy because literally everyone has this combo this year it's been all my spoons just to live through the basics let alone write stuff.
I will try to finish the story for the readers that liked it but it's unfortunately going on the pile of want to do stuff instead of the list of things I can do right now.
I don't want links and redo's of my work, I don't want or need pages of suggestions on my work or stories either especially when I never asked. It's not cool, it's not okay, it messes with my spoons when they've been really low for awhile now.
I work graveyard full time and often OT, I single caregive to an aging parent in the minisculic time off that I get. I have shopping, dishes, housecleaning and laundry all on top of that not counting sleep.
I don't need the reminders that I haven't been writing, I don't need the pressure.
Hey just letting folks know things have been extra busy IRL and am changing employers so there's been a pile of certs and recerts going on with that plus all the other things that goes with full time graveyard shift plus being the single caregiver to an aging parent.
I have been and am working on a bigger single too that's been dominating my brain as well.
Things are still way too busy with work and the heat plus family stuff including a fight with people over things with my brother who is now suffering from a stroke or something like it possibly rug related.
I'll try to get somethings up here and there but it's looking rough.
Well it's that time of year again. I'm working too many hours still and still doing parental care plus now the humidity and the heat's getting rough levels here and to top everything off my lying and theiving drug addict brother's hitting the point where the hard cheap drugs are meeting his age and he’s even more of a mess, a mess that other family who are just as bad as him now want to dump back into my life.
So like the last brotherly drama writing will likely be nil for awhile.
I will be using both hands just to hang on, so typing will be slow.
May all your bacon be crispy, your pancakes be fluffy and over flowing with maple syrup, your beers be chillin, the poutine be hot and gooey...and a beavertail for dessert.
I can't help but post because I have had folks come and ask me what was going on here. That there seems to be some stuff going on that's really cis centric and kind of making some of ghe folks here feel unsafe.
Seriously this is a friendly space and it should be a safe one.
I finally had the time to finish this novellette and it's now finished and put to bed. I hope everyone enjoys it and hopefully we'll see some new readers to it since we've lots of great new faces here on the site.

Bailey.
Cindilee is going through somethings that are really hard right now and while I can't go into her specifics without her permission it's enough that I want to offer up what support I can.
*Great Big Hugs, Cocoa and Blanket forts honey*
I just got the word that Cindi finally lost her fight with Hodgkins having been ill for quite some time and this last few kicks from life were just too much. It just took the fight right out of her.
I will be trying to get Hopscotch finished by the deadline so there'll some fast postings for it but you should be able to find the back chapters to whatever is currently up on the main page.
I'm going to try to break up the story differently to concentrate on fewer characters per chapter but I'll Likely return to the old format for really large events.
Now a good number of people have heard of pickled watermelon and those that haven’t well yes they pickle watermelon. More specifically the rinds.
Now this is a canning recipe so you will need the usual things for that like Mason Jars big cauldrons…uhm pots of water and the like. Personally I like a pressure cooker and if you’re familiar with canning/bottling your own food then you know what I mean. If not look it up! It’s a seriously cool life skill.
