This one's pretty basic really and you can feed a lot of people pretty well with big this one.
You'll need.
I tin foil roaster or standard kitchen one. Either will do.
1 pound of butter...there's a lot of veggies.
Canned pumpkin pie filing boughten or home-made.
1 Turnip peeled and cut into chunks around 10-15 pieces will be a good yield..
1 Squash cut into chunks and peeled, amounts are the same as Turnip.
1 bunch of carrots topped, tailed, halved and peeled if deserved.
1 bunch of golden/yellow beets topped, tailed, peeled then quartered.
Parnips and Sweet potatoes can be added just treat them like the carrots.
Toss in the roaster coating them well with melted butter.
4 tablespoons of pumpkin pie mix.
1 tablespoon of salt evenly spread.
1 tablespoon of pepper evenly spread.
Cover really well with lid or tin foil and bake on medium low or 300 Fara for an hour at least. When a paring knife can sink into all the bits it's done.
Alternately of sick of the pumpkin pie filling idea any good curry spice goes excellently with these veggies.
