We've all been together here for just yonks, so you know that I'm not going to harm myself, so I think it is safe to say that I am feeling so low tonight that I can't see out of my shoe tops. The weather here is awful, about 6 degrees and fairly pissing down. I would bundle up and go out for a walk about, but my lungs hurt so I feel trapped inside.

I was just sat here contemplating calling the crisis line and tell them I just need to talk, no need for drama or the plod.

I took a Dementia test friday and am not pleased with the results.

I have another part of "Virtually Feminine" for you this week. My muse was kicking me to make some progress, so I finished this.
I broke a tooth today so I was in two minds about publishing it.

I can't see me having another chapter ready next week. Maybe a standalone or something next week?

My apologies to all of my readers who were looking forward to Twice Removed this week, but circumstances have made it so I can't post it this week. I've been unexpectedly busy the last few days and haven't really had the time to finish the chapter. Add to that the fact that I've been having trouble sleeping again the past 2 nights and well, I could push to finish it for today, but doing so would be a rush job and not up to my usual standards.

Help!!! I posted my tales but only two are showing up. I am clueless on what to do. Meh... :(

Several weeks back I wrote about the trip down to OKC to the Clinic and then the problems at Costco. Two days later when I returned everyone was more than helpful and accepting. Made the trip to Amarillo today. The weather was a bitch! Sheet ice on the highway. couldn't see the lines as the whole thing was covered and it was all black except the bar ditches and fields covered in snow. Growl strips are on both sides of the Interstate and I was trying out both sides trying to find the highway. A kazillion semis were out there too. It was so foggy, two car lengths ahead was total white out.

Some of you may have read an off hand comment by me about regretting that I couldn't publish one of my first stories because I'd sold the copyright to Reluctant Press. Piper PMed me and suggested that I contact the CEO and talk with him about regaining the copyright. I'd have been willing to pay for it, considering I got paid for it when I sold it.

so I stumbled upon an idea and what started originally as a one-shot may be growing, and so I need someone to help me out here. I need someone to talk to, to bounce ideas off of, get input, get feedback and help craft this thing. It's going to be a modern urban fantasy-ish/ pseudo sci-fi-ish thing, where something in our mundane lives causes a fantastical change in a character and how they deal with it. Please PM me if you're up to it pls.

After getting stirred up a little I decided to write this esp. as a huge fan of this storyline.
As outlined above I will be listing who will be fighting against the Bastard and whom will likely be fighting.
As a long time reader of Whateley lore I have an idea of this lineup starting with: Team Kimba(absent possibly Ayla), Hive, Kodiak and Outcast Corner. Likely fighters include: Miyet, Laney, Tansy, Sangria(j/k I love Sangria's story) and Mrs.Carson. Questions?

The final part of Tammy's book "Moving On" has been published although there may be an epilogue to this book.

This does not mean that Tammy's story has finished, only this part! After the epilogue, however, there will be a break before new Tammy whilst I work on other projects.

Last night, I had a dream full of failure and frustration. First I was in a large group being assigned with building something from Leggo and I struggled to find pieces, and my finished product looked sad compared to the others. Then we cleared off the leggo and we were supposed to learn a dance, but I couldnt see the feet of the instructor, so couldnt march her steps. And even when I had one on one instruction, I couldnt seem to explain what my problem was.

For the Linux users out there, I need some opinions/answers. I've got an older Windows machine that I am thinking of reviving with a Linux OS. I am also considering a Linux dual boot system, with Linux on a thumb drive while the original Windows OS on the HD. That would give me access to all the stories, photos, and what-not.

My question is which would be a better choice: Ubuntu or Mint? Either one can be installed on the HD or a thumb drive. I like the thumb drive option for it's portability. Any suggestions or recommendations?

I'm starting to worry I'm not going to have my trope story done in time. in fact I'm starting to worry I wont ever write again.

Following on from my blog posts about Georgie Stone, it's sad to read that South Dakota House of Reps has passed a bill making it a criminal offence for doctors to treat transgender youths under the age of 16 with puberty blockers. Rep Fred Deutsch originally compared the treatment to medical experiments in Nazi concentration camps, although he's now backed off after widespread criticism. Many medical associations have expressed their dismay at the bill since untreated transgender youths are more at risk of suicide.

So, yeah.

Double good news day.

First, my little dog has bounced back a bit, so it seems like we will be spared making the hard choice for now.

Secondly, I went to the dietitian and I have lost more weight. I'm down to 308 lbs now, from a high of 338 lbs not too long ago.

so yay on both fronts.

After reading the latest Camelot Network Solutions I started backtracking to find out about a character I didn't remember. I discovered that #7 is not there. I tried all the usual things - forced reload, clearing the buffers, even tried on a seperate device, all with no luck. Still keeps saying a 0 word count.

My little dog's health is going downhill, and my mom is super stressing about how far we let things go before we say goodbye to the little fuzzball.

I'm doing what I can to help, but this is putting serious pressure on my spoon count.

Georgie Stone, 19-year-old transgender rights advocate and her mother Rebekah were both awarded a 'Medal of the Order of Australia' (OAM) in this year's Australia Day awards. Georgie was the youngest recipient this year. Hi everyone on BC. With Momma E's letter to Helen, i feel it was a great ending to one of my longest stories i have ever writen. Oh how i wanted soooo much to keep it going but i never found anything that wasn't already addressed in the narrative. I had fun with Helen and Jo but i felt it was time to move onto something else. I left it open because 1) i wanted Helen to reflect myself a little and i am still not out of the closet so i would have literally no idea of how to proceed if she ever does come out on paper.

Work has been incredibly light this last month and to keep myself occupied, I've been reading old stories. Unfortunately, there are two that have been nagging at me to be read that I cannot find anywhere...

Story 1: I believe this was a lightoffury/lightivaton story where earth is being invaded by interdimensional monsters that are attuned to specific elements. The main character slowly gains control over all the elements over the course of the story while fighting stronger and stronger monsters.

Boy gets captured by Germans escapes as a girl becomes girlfriend to a German spies for America in end gets back to America but is giving a choice remain a women of be mailed for desertion

I've been going back and reading through some of my previous work. A few glaring mistakes stood out to me that I corrected asap. Then I started noticing little mistakes. A wrong pronoun here, or the wrong use or spelling of a word. Before long I felt like changing a few things in the story overall. It got me thinking...

I have a collaborator (you know who you are, and you're doing a great job!) who's helping write a new story - it's in work when I find time. Not sure if I'll try to publish for revenue (earn a few $$$) or publish it serially here.

The problem I have is that sometimes I get a little too verbose, and I need someone who can read and then say "this section or paragraph is not needed" or "tighten up the long, boring dialog" or "why don't you narrate it instead of doing the longer dialog thing?" Also any obvious "WTF? This could NEVER happen!" bits.

I've seen a lot of postings here about how much anyone can learn about us on the internet. What makes me question just how much research is really being done is things like getting fund raising letters from both the Republican and Demacratic parties in the last few days. Obviously one of them has it wrong unles I'm even more mixed up than I thought. And obviously neither one has access to my bank records. Or maybe they just didn't ask google.

Was working on a story on bcts. Like usual it is there for awhile like a day or two. I had not copy pasted to clipboard like i usually do. I figured ok this is a good place to stop. Lets give it a look over. And clicked on preview..

I am so pissed off. I have never had this come up before.

I'm sorry that I commented on a blog post that was removed this afternoon. I'm sure my comments were in part responsible for the removal. I'll take a time-out now.

I was so very wrong, I am so sorry. I understand why people ask for kudos and comments now. It's so depressing when you have tons of reads and no comments or anything.

I didn't realize how upsetting it feels when you work so hard, research like hell, make sure to not be racist in your depictions of monsters, even do tons of research. Even doing things like the EXACT temperature that was there when it was that time period and people still don't care.

Okay, so I'm kinda scared. See, this morning, while I was in a kind of half-sleep/half awake state, I felt a jolt of energy in my head, and my body twiched and trashed. Only lasted a couple of seconds. But about a minute later it happened again. I had maybe four, maybe five of these events, and then it just stopped.

Needless to say, Monday Morning I have to get a hold of my doctor, and see if they can figure out what happened.

In the meantime, hugs, prayers, and good wishes appreciated.

In case you don't know me, I'm Jamie. I work behind the scenes here, helping Erin, Piper, Cat and everyone else keep this wonderful place running as smoothly as our little team can. You all have been absolutely wonderful to us over the last few years I've been working here, and I wanted to say thank you.

Now for the topic of this blog. I just got the phone call a few days ago that I am at the top of the list to work with a great service dog trainer in my area. I spoke with her some, and she recommended a specific Poodle breeder.

Christopher Tolkien, son on J.R.R. Tolkien has passed away. He had taken his father's notes and crafted the Similairian, the story of the First age and the fight of the Elves against Morgoth, the first Dark Lord. I've read the book more times than I can count, and find more to learn every time.

Rest in peace, Christopher. May you be safe in the Undying lands with your father.
