Why do I keep having to re log-in all the time, it wasn't this way before. I was replying to an email when I got caught in the three AM reset and lost my reply. Okay, that was my fault, I screwed up. I left the reply screen up on this computer and went to bed. This morning I used my tablet PC to read the site a bit, and just now came back to this computer and retyped my reply. When I hit "enter" I got a not logged in message and lost that reply. I tried using the back arrow to recover what I'd typed both last night and again just now, with no success.

I look around and see what others post in this genre we call transgender fiction and I realize that I do not fit the mold of 90 percent of what is produced. I'm not saying that is a good or a bad thing, but i am definitely not in the majority. I have spent the last few days reading works of other authors and notice a common theme running throughout, namely a fetishy kind of approach to transsexualism. Big Closet is somewhat different from other sites because it has less of this than the norm, but it certainly does have its fair share.

Well, at long last, the movie I have been waiting for since I heard it was going to BE a movie, came out for rental today. The Avengers! I have to say, in all honesty, that it not only lived up to it's hype, but surpassed even my high expectations. To see, on the screen, the heroes I grew up reading about in the "comic books" and witness the incredible effects and acting displayed by the cast, just blew me away.

She's sleeping inside my top right now, under my pull over dress, but over my T shirt, that says,"Run Like A Girl". Right now, I am fantasizing about being preggers. :) I am carrying the baby reall high right now. It will be months until I deliver her.

Eek! Job hunt coming up. Scary.

Ok I blogged about my job situation and the challenges I have faced there last week. Things just keep going downhill and my employer does seem to want to get rid of all the old hands. They are unaware of my looking for something else and I plan to keep it that way. I am turning to the BCTS family for help. Here is my problem I need a resume but am not sure how to write it seeing as the only job I have had in the last ten years is this one. References are no problem I have those in spades in my company and out of it. Does anyone have a template or know of one.

So I get home this morning after slaving for the man. Delivering papers is harder than people would think (and I have one unaccounted for, damn it). My roommate tells me that about 5 cop cars were at the house at 5 a.m. All the cops asked was if she had called 911 and if she was alone. I have no idea what that was about, but me and the Tampa Police Department is like a marriage that ended in a nasty murder/suicide (Really, really, really bad). So, outside of worrying that the cops are out to fuck with me again, I don't know if there is anything to worry about.

I mentioned that being a conservative had more to being self reliant than having government take care of you.

FreeRIDErs!

Okay since Shaun.v has already kinda sorta mentioned FreeRIDErs, I'll go ahead and put in my two cents. FreeRIDErs is a series of stories that is currently being posted over at Shifti.org. It takes place in the far future on another planet called Zharus which is a type of super-earth. Bigger than Earth but with similar gravity due to lesser density.

It is very much an anime style tale with animal styled powered-armor that uses nanites to help merge the AI armor and human pilot into one form. There are a lot of gender changes in the stories as a whole, although not every story has TG.

Another SF Question

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Another science fiction question, though this one at least has some TG content.

I own the Ace Double Novel from the 1950s containing Cosmic Checkmate, by Charles DeVet and Katherine McLean. That's Ace's title -- they were always changing titles, probably in hopes of tricking potential buyers who'd already read the stories -- for an expansion of a magazine story or novella called "The Second Game", written by DeVet.

The "complete novels" in Ace's Doubles were often relatively short works; this was one such, coming in around 120 pages. An expanded edition, Second Game (no "the"), was issued in paperback in 1981, which is why I'm writing. Has anyone here read the later version?
