I posted the story twice and the newer one is corrected so that the links are correct. In the first posting they are all the same link, which was not the intents. That would be the top one on the list on the home page. I am so sorry for making that mistake.
Thanks to all of you, who have read and liked Womanly Chapter 1. I am glad that you like this story and I am very grateful for this landmark. This is my first story to hit a hundred. I have developed as a writer and I am sure I have a lot more improving to do. Thank you for putting up with my stories and hopefully they entertain you.
For those of you curious as to my inspiration for my current story. Here is the trailer for the film Beastly. It is a modern version of Beauty and the Beast as told from the "beast". Hope you enjoy. I will be working on the next parts today or tomorrow and should be up then.
Here is a video I found showing a family coming to terms and accepting their new son, in order for him not to become a statistic but to live a happy life being who he is.
I have posted the start of another story. This is a rough draft and if you like it and want it to continue, I have a few ideas of where I want it to go.
I have combined From Knight and Courtship and I think it combined well but I am wondering how other readers feel about it? Does it flow together well since they were written several years apart? Do they fit well together? If you read it please give me your criticism. I am thinking of publishing it on Amazon kindle and want to make sure that it is as perfect as I can get it. Any thoughts on it will be accepted as I am my own worst critic.
I have combined all of From Knight To Dawn and the Courtship of Dawn together. I would like to get it ready to publish and I would like some one to proofread and/or edit it with me. I want to make sure everything makes sense and I am not a good judge of my writing. If anyone cares to volunteer either comment here or send me a message here. Thank you.
In the next few days, like I have already done for Alexandra's Story is to put a summary of where I see the story going. In time, and if the inspiration returns to finish them then I will expand it. I want the readers to feel a sense of the ending.
Went to the specialist today. He is going to implant the defibulator at the beginning of May. Good news is it needs only one wire. It will be a one day surgery at least. My infarction rate is about 20% and is not up to where they would be happy.
I have revised my short story Winter Journey (Click here), so if you have already read it, give it another shot. This is getting to be one of my favorites and I have enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy it.
On August 26, I suffered a heart attack, which I did not recognize as one as it had none of signs. Just a stiffness in the chest which I thought was part of the bronchitis I thought I had. I called the EMT on the 30 because of shortness of breath. I was sitting in the ER waiting to them to discharge me when the doctor came and told me they thought I had a heart attack. The next week they took all kinds of tests, found that the valves were good, most of it was viable the only area was the small area in the middle bottom of the heart which was gone.
I am trying to find a story series here on this site. I can't remember the author's name but it dealt with a teen who transitioned, and got some grief from his dad, older brother and grandfather, but they all came around eventually. She spent a lot of time dressing up at her grandmother's house. Also the grandmother gave the older brother a bit of petticoat discipline and he was tormented by his friends and defended the younger brother. I would be very grateful is somebody could help me find this story.
I am very sad today as my cat passed away. She was a sweet affectionate cat and I will miss terribly. Celeste rest in peace, I miss you and I was glad that I was able to give you love.

Today is the anniversary of my first year here. I have found a lot of acceptance for my stories here. I am so grateful to the readers and the wonderful people here. I also love the encouragement I get as a fledgling writer. I am working on the next part of Alexandra's Story. I have ideas of where I want it to go. I am thinking of moving it from the forced aspects into a more romantic tale. I guess as I get older I am mellowing out. Anyway, I can't believe it has been a year already. Thank you for letting me share my stories here.
Well I have posted a little bit about some of my dorm experiences. I know it has been a while since I posted. This is a very short post, but I may add more to it if inspired. A lot has happened in the past two months. At the end of August, I had to live out of my car for about a week or two. That is an experience I would like not to repeat. I moved into a house that I am renting and getting used to that. As to not writing, my stories' characters have been silent in telling me where they want to go.
I am pondering which direction to take this story. I would like to write it with several alternates with her choosing the three different guys. Would you, the readers like me to do this. If not, if it came to picking one of the guys, maybe if get feedback on which guy you would like Lesley (the character, not me) to choose. Comment with your feedback. Thank you for helping me.
I am posting this, because I am curious on how you came up with your name. I will start by telling you how I came up with mine. Lesley is from one of my favorite female rock stars. I liked the sound of the name, liked its meaning and it sort of fit my personality. Renee was a suggestion of a person I was chatting with at the time. It was one of his favorite names. I liked it, plus it was the name of one of the girls I grew up with and liked and it to some how fit me. Charles is my male middle name. I kept as a link to my past.
