Bullied transsexual student takes own life, possibly by accident.

It was rather nice to see the Sharing, Caring Sun, actually treated this story quite sympathetically.

How much pain can any of us endure?

Andrea Lena's picture

...even if unintentional, she had to have taken so much and gone untended for so long to overdose. How sad to have hope torn away from her? And if she meant to take her own life, how sad the song that ironically says that suicide is painless. May she rest in peace, and I hope those of our community who hurt like this find the care and acceptance and help they need. I know I would have followed or preceded her if I hadn't found so many of you folks here. Thank you!

Yes; for once ...

Yes, for once the Sun showed itself to be thoughtful and (Dare I say it?)compassionate.

Can't say the same for the coroner though. Death was caused by an overdose taken whilst suffering from severe depression not Gender dysphoria and mental health problems caused by Gender Dysphoria.

Sun Story

After reading the story I got the feeling that the parents were not axcepting his change problem either as they were putting the blame on the doctors. Just my feelings!

A Sad Tale from The Sun

I say that those bullies need to pay for their crime against her! As for the parents, they lost a Princess. Why punish them any more?
