Sorry I didn't post part four of chapter 12 of Timeout 4 -- did I confuse anyone there? Sure confuses me -- last night.

I am posting today then heading out to enjoy the sunny fall day.

If you are in Wisconsin this time of year and want something different, try out the East Troy Electric Railway. The last operating piece of the once vast streetcar and interurban system the predecessor of WE Energies built in the early part of the 1900s.

Adult tickets are $12.50 for an all day unlimited rides pass. Plus they have special events. I got to ride in a refurbished line car -- one of those tiny gas powered maintenance units now all replaced with drop wheel equipped trucks. I've even ridden on electric freight engines and in an open air car. AND in a Stainless Steel train from Chicago , now in the museum collection, that is YOUNGRER than I am.

Scary that.

Most runs are between East Troy and The Elegant Farmer -- Phantom Woods Stop. The Elegant Farmer is an upscale pick-your-own farm and farm market with the best sugar laden apple pies ... baked in a real brown paper bag! Realy.

So good. So rich. So likey to make your dentist wealthy.

P.S. Get out there and have some fun wherever you are today.
