Just in case anyone's been wondering why there's been a distinct absence of comments from me over the past week, I've been temporarily offline.
Well, strictly speaking, my 'net connection's fine, it's just that I've been on a short holiday in the Exeter / Dartmoor area.

I've started posting a story about Bobbie (Schmedlap) Anderson, Cindy's best friend. You might remember (Cynthis and the Reluctant Girlfriend) that Bobbie used to be Bobby, a ten year old, sports loving little boy who happened to be a girl. Thanks to Cindy and The Wizard, she became that girl. Let there be no doubt about it, Bobbie is all woman, and a very sensual woman at that, when it comes to her relationship with her boyfriend, and now husband Andy Anderson; however, Bobbie refuses to allow a male dominated sport hold her back. She knows actions speak louder than words.

I posted the second chapter for the Omega Unicorn Chronicles. I'm setting up another problem to be solved. I'm also exploring more of Richard's background in this chapter. He talks about two more stories in his life that defines some of his emotions.

The first story is with his brothers, Chapter 1. That has been resolved, but it will be told again in a later chapter for a certain point to be made.

There are four things I'm putting in tonight's blog: one - I've been in the Philippines over five days now, on a business trip for my company, to help set up a new call center; two - I'm getting to know the place and the people (and the shopping!) and am enjoying it so far; three - there was a metro-wide blackout due to downed power lines because of a typhoon, and: four - apparently I look like someone named Nancy.

i seem to be good at saying the wrong things, I would really like to be able to turn Version 2 of Rae Summers: A new beginning into something that people find at least a little entertaining. So any suggestions as to making it better will be appreciated.

I don't know how I found my way to this site, but some who know me will understand why it captured my interest. Now days, I am just in it for the giggles, mirth, laughter and fun. A little redness on my bottome just adds to it. :)

Well, I finally got the last of the stuff i needed to get help to go back to school, and have my appointment wed. All things look green at this point.

First let me apologize the Staff and Editors. I tried to post two chapters of a story I wrote some time. I have no clue about how HTML works. I tried several times before I got it to look right and hit the submit content button......but oops I didn't clear out the others that didn't look good before I did. So you may have got the first chapter of the same story several times. I have read through a lot of the FAQ but I use Word Perfect so it's bit different from MS word.

Still I am open to any all help as I have more than a few story's I would like to post. Thanks to all. Joe

Okay, now here's the deal.

I have agonized for months, re: my feminine presentation. Having somewhat low self esteem regarding my overall presentation, I have never, I repeat, NEVER considered myself female looking enough to be comfortable in public. That has gone by the boards. Over the last few months there have been more than a few instances where I have been accepted by people who have no other reason to accept that I am who and what I appear to be. To be accepted simply as just another female is still heady stuff for me, but I LOVE it!

Yesterday, we got a letter from The Heart Hospital, offering a date. My partner goes in next Wednesday 21st for a heart bypass operation very early on the 22nd.

Just a quick note for anyone that's interested, I've finally sat down and done some uniformity tweaks to my Organizer pages.

I haven't decided if I'm going to do anything with my Author page yet, but Book One now has a proper title, and all three have a proper, brief synopsis attached.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to doing this. I really, honestly did not expect my Robin chapters to become so popular especially as the first serious writing I've done in years, not counting the odd fanfic here and there.

I was wondering whether you guys were hoping that the four teens of my story find the resort location that is open for business and fairly full or the one that is empty and closed down.

It could seat about 1,000 people, nobles and retainers mostly, and would have been an assembly area for preparing for war. Thought it was interesting since there has been some interest in Ancient Briton and associated areas.

Rules are made to be broken, but it’s easier to successfully engage the reader if you put the ball close to the strike zone.

I'm going to the Far East this afternoon. There are four of us flying to the Philippines this afternoon. Our flight leaves at 5:30pm later, so last night, I packed a my one and only wheelie bag with just five outfits, a couple of heels (in black, of course, so it'll match with virtually anything) a couple of pajamas, and just enough underwear for a week (plus make-up, toiletries, brushes n combs and everything else a girl needs).

After a month of poor health, I'm getting back to my writing or at least trying to. Is there a BC author or commenter from Australia who can help me? I'm trying to determine the time in Alice Springs compared to other parts of world, and the websites I'm finding are telling me time in that part of Australia is currently 12:21 a.m. when it is 10:51 a.m. where I'm writing. Note the 21 and 51. Is CST Time Australia, a half hour different from other places?* I always thought time zone changes were hourly. IF its say 9:51 in Bombay, its something 51 in all other parts of the world.

This past weekend was, in most ways, far nicer than most have been over the past few years...

So, it occured to me a few seconds ago that one of my greatest concerns Re: my gaming hobby is a concern of my fictional character, Robin Smith's, in Becoming Robin...

well, i had a busy day today. I sent off a couple of resumes, i phoned some colleges regarding the program i want, i got a doctors appt. for tomorow to get a letter for the funding people, i also phoned the goverment to get a copy of my tax form that i needed, and even got a little writing done for my next story. As a reward for my hard work, i took all the bottles i have been collecting and took them to a depot, and took the money and went to a consignment shop and found a couple of new items to wear as dorothy. All in all, a good day.

For the second time in three months, a member of my household got called to do their civic. In April it was me, this time it is my wife.

She's at the Palm Beach County Courthouse right now. It is lunch time and she won't be back in court till 1:30. She is one of a 150 person jury member pool civil suit. Juror candidates have already been warned the trial will end sometime in August or in other words will be 3-4 weeks in length.

Right now I'm feeling a mix of elation and sadness. A story I've lived with, thought about and sweated over for years is finished. It's never easy to let your children go, I know this because my youngest is moving out on her own tomorrow, both instances are bittersweet but tell me that I've managed to do something right even with all the mistakes made along the way.

It's been a while, hasn't it?

One person did not believe me that I would take action. They have been banned for forging someone else's name on a post. This is more egregious than simply making snarky comments. I'm debating as to whether the ban is permanent.

I'm very sorry that it came to this.

well, i put a little make-up on for pride tonight. bought some eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick (although it wasnt a stick, but with a brush - so more like lip paint) from a dollar store and am trying it out. I am not likely to get much chance to practice, so I am stuck wishing i looked less like a clown.

Another busy week... don't they all seem to be, any more?

I'm working on the next part of PFH, hopefully I'll have it ready some time this afternoon. I've found that writing while watching Ranma 1/2 serves to both distract me and inspire me at the same time, so that's what I'm doing right now :P

Anyhow, I'll make sure to have the next part posted as soon as possible, and maybe this next week I'll be able to get more done, and faster, so I don't have to worry about delays like this again!

They can be found by anyone who looks for them but I'd prefer that the matter be dropped since it seems to have blown out with a few appropriate apologies.

I'm actually impressed that such a hot topic came up and got openly discussed and no one lost their temper.

zzzzzzzz...ugh, what? Oh, yeah, I'm writing something, huh? What was it about...zzzzz...ZZZZZ...zzz...Whu? Oh, yeah, just a sec...*BAM* (smacks head into wall). OK, I'm awake, for now. So, uh, what was I saying? Oh yeah, writing stuff. So, I haven't gotten any writing done in a couple of weeks now. Really busy lately. And haven't gotten a good night's sleep in, like, a month or so. Camping was fun, though...

 
I had originally written this as a comment to chapter six, Love is in the Air, but I kind of got on a roll and wrote more than I felt comfortable placing in my own story comments section, SO! I'm posting this here, and I'll probably child page it under Chapter Six for organization's sake. Thank you everyone, for your continued support. It really does mean a lot to me :-D

Well, here is a question for the books.

I have noticed that since my transition, certain physical symptoms have become less troubling. In fact I have all the symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis, and am being checked for it and am wondering if the Estrogen has not in fact caused the easing of my problems?

Trying to figure this out; why would FBI choose to now out harmless Moles who only want to get into the movies? That girl she knows how to distract men!

First I thought it to be shameless distraction from Afghan war that is like fly paper. Then I thought maybe it is to soothe us after Vuvoozas ruined the world cup. Then I decided that it is to reinforce the idea of world threat to us so we could further ruin the ocean with stupid oil spills. But, finally I figured it out!! Yes, I did figure it out despite their crafty deception!!

There are two basic types of 'Farie Tales'. There's the Disney sweetness and light and everyone lives happily ever after kind, and then there's the Brother's Grimm not always a happy ending type.

Have you ever considered that the only thing that separate the two are the two words "what if"? For example, what if the Singing Sword had missed the mark and the dragon queen had destroyed the young Prince? Princess Aurora would still be sleeping.

Here's another farie tale that has a "what if" ending. I'll begin it as all good farie tales begin, but be warned, this is a sad tale.

I am going to pursue transitioning to female full time.

I've started talking to my therapists and I'm going to talk to some people about getting on hormones, I'm going to have to see if there are options that low income people have access to with those so I can continue on this journey.
