First, I want to thank EVERYONE that is supporting the story and has commented on and/or 'liked' it.

Now, for this week... My 'normal' rhythm is now to post on Thursdays (I can't really go up against Lux on Fridays, now can I? LOL)... BUT, I am going to be on travel this coming week--and I have no idea if I will get a chance to post... SO, I am going to post early this week. The next posting WON'T be until NEXT Thursday, though... Sorry!

I'm just sitting here, having realized that if I hadn't sabotaged myself, I might have had totally transitioned by now.

By delaying my name change, I cost myself more than $ 4,000 which would have come in handy for paying off my car and putting myself in a position where even if i wasn't able to work for months after surgery I'd still be above water.

With early voting underway, I went and did just that. I made the mistake of posting who I voted for and why on fb. Two friends, both women, got into a Facebook war on my page for the better part of 2 hours.

I strongly encourage everyone to cast a ballot, no matter who it is that you support. Even if you hate all the candidates, please go vote for whomever you feel is the lesser evil. Too many men and women have fought and died for us to have that right.
Just dont post it on fb.....

I'm not sure how, what, when or even if this will happen but I hope it will. I guess like most if not all on this site I love writing stories. I've written a few bedtime stories for my kids probably pretty much like all parents. My eldest son was my biggest challenge and is pretty much the reason that I did this. You see he hated sad endings so when I told stories like the three little pigs I had to invent a happy ending for him. So, I guess it all went from there really.

One of my favourite characters is a deep, loving man of fierce protectiveness and uncommon good sense. His name is Arwel Powell, and one of the best descriptions of him is as an iceberg, showing very little of the depth of his personality on the surface. He is based on a real person, a family member, and I found out today that the original for my character has just been given five months to live.

Words do fail me occasionally.

As before, these are notes which explain my thought processes and decisions while writing SEE, provided here as a service (or a warning!) to other writers.

These three chapters have only minor adjustments in general. The usual things like Capitalization and fixing typos. There are a few cases where I have changed "Yes" to "Aye" but in the main it will be difficult to spot most alterations. I have slightly changed one or two speeches but nothing that has any major significance.

I was watching VICE news last night on HBO, now that it airs 5 nights a week. And heard about the fact that there is a Trans-Woman running for one of the US Senate Seats for Utah as the candidate for the Democratic Party.

I applaud her courage to not only say who she is but to actually try and run for office.

For those of you who even care to read these blogs then watch and read as I explain what has happened over the last month and why I haven't been around as much as I'd like to be.

To start I guess I should mention a few things. First I was diagnosed with Parkinson's about a month ago. Secondly i'm mute(not deaf there is a difference) which means I can't talk. I lost my means of talking at 12 years old. This has been eating me up for a while and it drove me to the brink of suicide. It took a fellow BC'er talking me out of it to come to my senses.

Okay, I need help remembering the name of a story.

It was a Whately story, about a girl with gadget powers, who was forced to make weapons for this guy, and when rescued, went to Whately with a lot of trauma and even wanted a UV armband.

Anybody know what I'm looking for?

I've been thinking about a chapter of the Hala Story that deals with very cynical account of the years from 2020 though about 2050. One of my protagonists would be involved in more war in Syria, Iraq, and Turkey with Daesh and finally the Russians. Thank God the US runs out of money to prosecute this war.

Not really sure I even want to write this chapter because I think there are enough Vets on this site that it would just traumatize them. Maybe all this can be handled in a paragraph or two. There is no glory in war.

Sometimes, I don't make the best choices.

Like today, after the church service, our "Affirm" group was showing a video on hate crimes and interviews with the guys who committed them explaining why they did it.

I should probably have known it would be too much for me, but I was curious, so I stayed to watch.

Yeah, that didn't go so well.

I lasted less than halfway through before I had to go and sit outside.

Fortunately, I have wonderful people at my church, and so I got several hugs and prayers to help stabilize me so I could drive home.

Since the latest site upgrade my Thumbs Up button has disappeared. Obviously it hasn't for others, as the stories I've been reading have been accumulating Kudoses like crazy.

Is there a simple solution? Or is it just me?

Well, I am breathing a sigh of relief. I got my physical done, and it did NOT have to include any invasive tests.

My doctor says considering my overall health, assuming my bloodwork comes back okay, I can skip getting stuff shoved up places I'd rather not be touched.

set off by the strangest things, let me set the scene
Suffering from a migraine [I do not get the auditory component of migraine that causes nausea, which is why it probably took the medical types took so long to diagnose my suffering with Migraines], I was sat in a darkened room listening to music, most of the time it is just there but like with a lot of things something catches you in that place between you the conscious and subconscious, and a lyric begins to roll around in what I [laughingly] call a mind.

Well, Amazon sent me an email:

These stories we read on BC are fiction. Once upon a time if anyone put "Barbie Lee" into ANY search engine, they would be reading about me or something I wrote. Mattel also took note and sent their Legal Beagles after me with the insinuation "Barbie" was theirs and theirs alone to use. I was to immediately stop using my name, pay them an ungodly amount of funds, and turn over my domain name to them.

I am trying to do some research on Sk8trr Grrrls. I can't find anything past chapter 4.
can anyone direct me to the later chapters

I may try re-writing Princess and the Jock and would like to include some of the cross over into it some more.

how much you rely on your computer until something goes wrong.

Today i've spent best part of 10 hours writing a single Gaby chapter - a task that generally takes less than half that time. The reason? The files I needed to check for continuity were on my dead computer so I had to go a very roundabout way to access copies. A two minute job became half an hour and then had to be repeated - grrr, so annoying!

I read a story "Mrs. Cavendish" on Fictionmania by Paula hanson a long time ago. Its still in my favourite list. The story tempo is really good. The boy gets into gradual feminization process due to his long hair working for a woman. But the problem is the story is incomplete and i think the author has no intenstion to complete it. There are many talented writers right here on this platform. Can someone have a look and complete it? Please? Pretty please?
I would also appreciate some suggestions for stories like that. thanking you in anticipation...

This a update on what I've been up to as well as a request for aid. After my open heart surgery last year it's been one heck of a struggle to keep up with the bills and life in general.

My Understanding Spouse has recently gotten a new job, but it is in another city and state. We knew it was going to be tough moving, but we thought we had it covered. Finding an apartment long distance was not fun, but we did find what seems to be a nice place. She left her old job and is currently working from home until she has to appear in person in mid November.

So this week I've been cracking on with writing, another 3 chapters of Gaby are with my editor now, that's 6 in the last week, and I'm all ready to hit the keyboard again in the morning!

An update to the Atalanta series that many of you asked about. My Muse finally woke up after a year hiatus and I've written more (5k words) in the last week than in the past year due to a combination of factors. I finally have an editor (thanks Ashleigh) and a you tube video on a unrelated matter that fired me up. So I hope to start posting chapters in the next month on Atalanta's further adventures at Whateley Academy. And I'm breaking my rule about not having the story finished before I start posting each chapter.

And I need your help and the reason for the title.

It's been a very long time since I have had time to write anything.
Went to maybe start on Princess and the Plague again, but had forgotten characters and previous plots.
So I started reading it again.
Surprisingly and happily, I'm enjoying the story. I'm hoping it will get the muse out of her cage and back to work
I've also enjoyed going back over some of the comments and debate that this story created.
Anyway. Hopefully I'll be posting more episodes again before Thanksgiving

I wept for my father today.

See, I've been reading C.S. Lewis' autobiography, and he talks about his father a lot, so maybe that's why my dad came to mind today.

But regardless of the trigger, I wept for him.

I actually think this might be a good thing. I never really grieved properly for my dad, so getting this out of my system is a step in the right direction.

Or at least I'm hoping so ...

I just clicked the link Tigger provided and it appears that Amazon has taken the author's page down. Looks like the reviews and phone calls had the correct effect. Hope that story thief gets what's coming to her. Great job everyone. We caught another thief!!

I have no idea where the stories are going. I have no idea what's gonna happen next. I'm just hoping at the end they're halfway decent and readable ...

I have an idea what to do next for Mercy, but for it to work, I need a villain. I need someone to take offence at Faith for some reason, and do stuff (indirectly) to make her life more difficult.

It would seem that my block has been lifted, earlier today a great flow of words and plot lines started to fall out of my fingers, landing on the keyboard.

Why today? Why not yesterday or any time in the past few months? Well, today I was having a Onesie day, having bought the thing yesterday. Maybe that was it, maybe not. Anyway, chapter 34 of Tammy: Anchored should be on the stand shortly (just need to proof it again!)

The woes of using a touch screen

I have had a hard time in my life with writing. As a child and a teen, all I knew how to do was structured writing for school. It was boring when it wasn't stupidly stressful if I messed up, which I often did. I hated it. Then I discovered that I could say screw you to that type of writing and write fiction like the stuff I read to escape. I wanted to do it so badly, yet I struggled with it going months, sometimes even years without writing anything.

I will be honest i rarely dream anymore, not in years.

I went to the doctor, with a joint so inflamed yesterday, the doctor offered me a cortisone injection. and opioid pain killers while the joint healed.
I an on my second ay of taking the meds and i am sleeping a lot and these dreams i am having are so out of this world, i do not like it.

basically i almost lugged the doctor with my good hand while he was inspecting the pained joint, he ducted, but i was actually about to slam my fist into his table, then he goes please don't break my table.

Heya peeps

The stories that not just me but almost everyone else write and post in the 'TG' genre are something like 99.9% in English. This means that they are at best difficult and worst completely beyond the majority of the world's population to read and enjoy. It has always been my intention to make at least some of my works available in other languages, a project that was indeed started many years ago but ended when my 'team' lost interest in continuing.

Well, I sent off my letter to the benefits company, so all I can do is wait and hope its enough to get them to reissue the check in my male name.

Meanwhile, I have a few other things I need to take care of - I have to book a physical with my doctor, and I need to get an appointment to see the PTSD therapist ASAP.

See, between pain and stress, I could really use some one to talk to about what happened to me so I can maybe slow down the number of flashbacks I'm having ...

Yep, I'm home from my latest adventures in Europe, an excellent weekend in good company exploring some of what Hessen has to offer (we did have a squint at Bavaria on Sunday too).

That's what a tiny tot said, and in case you couldn't guess, I was the "lady" in question.

It may not seem like much, but every "lady", every "she", "her", or "Ma'am" give me a little boost that helps me a great deal.

I've arrived home safely. The Ferry from Santander to Portsmouth was great and as on the outbound trip was a flat as a millpond.

Thanks for all the kind words. My little accident could have been worse, much worse now that I think about it and reflect upon it.
I traveled just over 800miles on the trip (3 days riding) and averaged more then 60mpg (UK gallon).
