Merry Christmas

The damage to my brain may be permanent. Fortunately my mind has come back, minus some ability to form memories ,recognize faces, and reduced thinking speed. I have recently reconciled myself to being paralyzed on the left side and in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Emotionally I have climbed out of a long deep hole and am ready to continue the rest of my life. What I have now strongly resembles ADD.

Merry Christmas!

I just posted a new MORFS story -- a Christmas special with the Martin family. I had actually started writing the story last year. Once Christmas passed, I let it sit. Still, I got back to it too late to give it the time that it deserves.

I hope everyone enjoys it. Meanwhile, maybe I'll get to the A New Life New Year special.

Didn't think it would happen this year

With all that I have had going on lately, work stress, two heart attacks and a muse that became sick and tired me me being too tired to listen to when I got home from work. I didn't think I would get a Meri Christmas story out this year. I fretting and begged the muse for a week to just give me an idea, any idea for an interesting Christmas themed story. Of course the muse ignored me, payback for all the times I've fallen asleep as she tried to whisper ideas into my ear.

A poignant Christmas story -- (from last year) "Acceptance"

Last Christmas I posted a very nice PG Christmas story that was well received. It had 2437 reads and was posted Dec. 2, 2018. I invite you to rediscover it again or for check it out for the first time. Do an easy search and you'll find it.

"Being in a single parent/single child family, especially during the holidays, is especially difficult. Dan and 11 year old Matt were in agreement on these matters."

Happy holiday wishes to all!

The WTF of Christmas Presents

I have a dear friend that I have known since 1969 but sometimes, he drives me mad.

I produce a calendar every year. This year, all the photographs are of Castles. I give them to friends as Christmas presents and sell a few to cover my costs. An excess is donated to a Charity. This year, it is the RNLI (Lifeboats). I gave them a £70 donation last week.

Suggested reading before Part 20

The penultimate part of Stick Her Shock 2 has just been posted. I would suggest before you read that and the final part that you read Sentenced to Life to give some important background that will help make things clearer.

In January I will publish a collection of stories tentatively titled The Rhonda Peters Chronicles including Sentenced to Life and a prequel to Stick Her Shock entitled Jack and the Jean Stalker.

Merry Christmas!

I’ve always been TG but never had a chance to express or explore that part of me. Back in the 60s it just wasn’t done much less tolerated. Born physically male I had mixed signals my first 3 years, I was the third child, a 6 year older brother and what would have been a 4 year older sister if she’d lived. My mom used me to fill her loss... until my sister was born when I was 3. Suddenly I had to become all boy.

Holidays suck

The Holidays are near....

Guess everyone is expecting me to single jinglebells and toss tinsel around in a jolly green sexy elf girl costume (well ok that would be fun lol) but seriously.....

Am I the only one that feels more like a Scrooge at this time of year (minus the intentional mistreatment of your employee, if you read/watched a scrooge based thingy you know what I am talking about)?

An Update

Hi, All.

I haven't blogged in a while. I've been spending my time writing.

I've got a new novel ready to publish on Amazon in January called Collected. It's a sci-fi story.

I've been working on retelling the Wildcats, starting with book one and ending with book six. Book five and book six are new. I just finished my first draft and it's 360,000 words. I've rewritten the story trying to smooth out the entire epic. It will be published in 2020.

Happy Holidays,

LM

in the middle of other's grief

I feel a bit like a person standing in a open field watching lightning bolts hit all round me but sparing me. A good percentage of my friends and relatives have suffered loss, grief, injury, or illness in the last little while. I feel bad for all of them, but I'm almost getting burned out and I'm worried that if I get personally struck I'm gonna have no spoons to deal.

New chapter of my Regency Romance - His Inconstant Desire

Just posted a new chapter of my Regency Romance, His Inconstant Desire. In this episode, Constantine has to deal with his female relatives desire to dress him appropriate to his new role as youngest daughter. Father wants to see her at dinner.

I'm trying to make this as much as possible within the realm of other Regencies. We have a heroine with an unusual past and a unique problem: in this case, she's been raised as a boy. That's not actually too far outside other Regency stories, that often feature tomboyish heroines with unusual backgrounds.

I've included a couple of my own photographs to give you some idea of the terrain that faced the youngsters and as is always the case, they don't do anything I wouldn't do myself.

I've just posted the first part of a new story. I started writing it last year, but you know how slow I can be.
I have another 6 parts complete and the 8th and final part is well under way, so I hope I won't leave people disappointed and impatient again.
As always, I would welcome any comments, good or bad. How can I improve if you don't tell me what you honestly think?

Stress and Anxiety

While I've had my share of moments of being over-stressed and freaking out, I've known too many people who suffer from full-blown anxiety attacks and who's stressors leave them barely able to function when they hit. Randomly I stumbled across the article linked below and felt like sharing. It's by someone who wrote a book about 'Peak Performance' who (much to their surprise) afterwords developed stress/anxiety mental illness. It's a good reminder that such issues can afflict anyone, and for those of us who don't suffer such I hope it'll remind us to be more understanding of those who do.

Thank you again.

Big Tent / Big Closet

The other day Erin made a comment about Big Closet being open to a very eclectic group of people.

She has made this statement hundreds of times. She lives this statement every day.

Running a site that is opened to a huge variety of ideas is a recipe for disaster. Asking people who don't unanimously agree on everything to feel welcome under her tent is like begging for dispute, especially in today's world.

Erin knew this the day she opened her doors. She had watched the debacles in the mosh pit on another similar site.

Downton Abbey has always seemed far too stern and tacturn for me. I've seen little snippets of it but always backed away to avoid the painful seriousness. For reasons unclear to me, I felt drawn to it yesterday, and rented the first episode of it, and am watching it in little bits.

I can't work out why or if the people were actually that inhuman to each other.

It means a lot to know that I have so many supportive readers, friends, and family here on BCTS. I'm still feeling the pain and loss, but it's not as raw and everpresent now as it was at first and I've been feeling more myself in the past day or two.

So I wrote a rape scene

Spoiler Alert for anyone who is reading Feral Saga and hasn’t gotten to the latest chapter, I'm gonna mention some stuff.

So I just wrote a rape scene. Probably the most unrealistic rape scene ever (there’s a drug involved that has basically magical properties), but still clearly rape. It was a long struggle deciding whether or not to include it. I decided maybe I could write something about it here. I’m not looking for validation, but there’s a lot of incredible people here and maybe someone else has had a similar issue in their writing.

So here’s why I hesitated:

Christmas is Coming

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas so I decided to look back at one of my stories 'Lost & Found'.
It was a fictional story for a competition that inspired me to write around a real life situation. No fantasy just an example of human kindness after personal tragedy.
Anybody got any recommendations for a nice read, story or book on Amazon, since Christmas is coming?

looking for a story

I am looking for a story. I don't know the author or even if it was on this sight but what I do remember is that guy goes off to college ( he has no family) meets up with girl (also no family) they go for a truck ride. They end up in an accident and she dies, in all the confusion he is mistaken for a patient that is there for SRS. anyway they turn him into the girl that died in the truck accident. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a question regarding explicit content

Princess of Aragon had many explicit scenes in it. The story is dealing with a forced marriage, feminization and making Thomas into his submissive wife and it had many of those scenes in it
but the question is should I include them, or pass them and just refer to those scenes briefly and say they happened after the fact
I want the story to be read and enjoyed so I am strongly considering removing much of the explicit scenes or at least making them more brief without the detail

see, my mom's insurance co called and asked my mom if she was filing a claim which makes no sense if he's taking responsibility for the accident.

I've been trying to make myself reply to messages and comments like I usually do today, but my heart and mind just haven't been in it. I got home from our friend's funeral, and dinner afterwards last night, already upset and drained emotionally. I made myself send my mom an email because it was her birthday and then gmail decided to show me an email I should have gotten on Friday. My uncle aunt, and three cousins, all under the age of 6, died in a house fire.

Looking for a story related to Christmas

Looking for a Christmas related story that appeared here several years ago. It concerned a young (25 or so I gather) woman who had been offered hormones in exchange for ‘services’. She manages to escape then goes through a period of rehab. She goes home and finds that her parents are wanting to rent out a garage apartment they’ve built. The young woman shows up to look at it, really to check out her parents. They don’t know who she is due to hormones and surgeries until she tells them about a bike that she was given (as their son).

Walking with Dinosaurs

I haven't worked out if it is a time travel story, or if they were on a spaceship that took them there. The more I study, I am not sure IF present day humans could live at that time because of differences in the Atmosphere. And I don't know if the soil of the Earth of that day is terriformed enough to support plants and animals that humans can eat? I haven't worked out a premise for how any TG content could happen. And, I haven't written a thing yet.

I am told that crossing 50 is an important achievement from Amazon's perspective.
I will soon be adding to this series and at that point, the comments will all go on the last story in the series. I'd really like to get to 50.

I wanted to touch on how the fact that I know I'm a girl, doesn't change me. How I will still curse, and use rude and innapropriate jokes at times (Sorry to everyone that hoped I would class up just because I started estrogen). I wanted to point out that I still plan to do paintball, play computer games, and sometimes just lie around and be a slob.

There are so many singers (vocalists) who if they didn't have a band drowning them out, or an electronic studio smoothing out, remixing; and just generally at least change their screeching into something reasonable as human speech; they would never make it outside the sleaze joints where everyone became too drunk to care. I know it's sacrilegious but I only like two of Elvis songs and one of Michael Jackson.
