My thoughts on the world and what is coming about for the future! Expect at least one post from the Shady Place of my mind at least once a week or once every two weeks when I'm busy.

Work continues on Scald Crow 2: Under Pressure: with me writing a few scenes a month. The muse has been a little strained as of late with all of the fairly inconsistent crazy that 2020 decides to throw our way. After finally getting a handle on my mood swings and my mania I've been spending a lot of time just thinking. Well, that and reading tons of Lesbian fanfiction to keep myself charged from working days as a cashier. In that regard, so far, the rude and very abusive customers have been low in number. Did have to deal with someone asking me if I was a "Dude or Dudette" as if it's anyone's bloody business.
Working on Scald 2 has really proven to be a nice challenge as it requires careful communication with other members of the Canon Cabal. I can't suddenly reveal a new species and expect people to just accept it. Anything new needs to be vetted and considered before being introduced. By doing this there is a definite level of suspension of disbelief which is maintained throughout the story. The biggest thing to pop up in my story is the infamous Morgan the rest of her kind. Since Morgan is a new kind of spirit in the Whateley Universe there is a lot of backstory to work out. Most if not all of this background is just there fo maintain cohesion for the characters.
By Frigga! Pretty much all of my works have an extensive back story, history, and even cosmology. Usually, the lore itself is hidden in long stuffy documents written in stereotypical RPG parlance. Yeah, I write my notes like the stuff you would read in D&D 5th edition or the latest book from the World of Darkness. Why I do this? Well, I could easily chalk it up to more than a few reasons. First, I wrote a log of narrative backstory for roleplaying settings. So I had to write things in an easy and fun to read manner. The other part is I have repeatedly just had fun writing up information for created worlds. I mean, I make up languages for the sake of trying out a few new ideas.
Now onto the meat and potatoes of this blog. I have been sitting on a few new future projects for about a month or two now. The very first is the idea of writing an extensive action sci-fi series set in my Land In The Stars. Think of it as the love child of Gundam, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars. The other project is a romance story called Kathonia which is in of itself now on the back burner. A lot has to do with what I have the drive to write at the moment. And currently, I have none for a Romance Story. So, what I'm doing is letting my ideas for my LiTS story to percolate and brew in the back of my brain.
I'm considering getting some art done for LITS and also some character portraits drawn in the future. For this series, I want to do a lot of pre-writing work including notes and much more. LITS is hands down my most complicated and detailed creation to date. Not including the five full religions in the universe. Currently, I have a rough idea for one character and a few others. I want to really flesh out who and what is involved in this storyline and have a clear longterm plot in mind before I undertake it.

Well, LITS definitely has me interested.... I look forward to what the future holds in regards to your writing!
Getting ideas...
So, the main thing is I try to branch out and create varied stories. The new one has a working title, and I'm focusing on the plot atm.
