Please, buy, or read through Kindle Unlimited, and PLEASE LEAVE A REVIEW! Reviews+sales are how Amazon decides which books get recommended.
If you buy anything from Amazon via a link here at BCTS, we make a small commission. And especially on DopplerPress books for which we get between 11% and 74% of the purchase price. But all purchases made at Amazon, of anything from ant paste to zymurgy tablets, in the 90 minutes after clicking on a link here, pay us between 2% and 10% (average about 4%) of the purchase price. It's all good. :)
Every book you buy not only gets us our usual sales commissions just like buying via BigCloset links, but any book published by Doppler.Press will also give us our normal publisher share too!
Doppler Press would be remiss if we didn't send a heart felt congratulations out to one of our authors, Katie Leone, on her current success.
Currently UNREACHABLE is a best selling book in three genres and is ranked number 20th overall in Juvenile Fiction (#622 out of all ebooks on Amazon). No small feat.
Katie is also ranked as the number 97th young adult author on Amazon.
Kudos to Katie. Good job in joining the list of successful authors from Big Closet.
Doppler Press has had some nice success to start off. Heather O'Malley's 300 Rains, Lana Lee's Suit Yourself and Sue Brown's Soccer Girl have all hit best seller status. Katie Leone just published Worth Fighting For and that is doing okay for us too. But there are things that the Big Closet community can do to really help not only increase our visibility on Amazon, but drive traffic (more readers for all our authors and perhaps a few new authors to post stories to boot) to the site.
One of our DopplerPress publications has achieved and kept a nice distinction at Amazon: Lainie Lee's Suit Your Self is the #1 BestSeller in LGBT Sci-Fi and has been for most of a week.
And which book did it take that crown away from? Another DopplerPress ebook sensation, Heather O'Malley's 300 Rains. :)
Friday we will be collecting the stories for the first Big Closet anthology. This one revolving around the bathroom issue. We appreciate those who have submitted something as we believe it will help defray some of the cost associated with the site. The anthology will also be good for authors and bring more visitors to the site as each story will have a link bringing readers to the author's page (the one that list all the author's stories, etc.) so they can view other works.
Doppler Press would like to announce the creation of our first Big Closet anthology. We know that there are many people who would like to contribute to the running of the site but simply do not have the money to donate and we respect that. But there is another way to help, and that is contributing to the Big Closet anthologies, which we plan on publishing as both an E-book and a print book quarterly. All proceeds from the sales of these books will be applied to keeping this site running. What we need from authors are stories, poems, essays, comics, pictures, etc.
Doppler Press would like to congratulate Heather O'Malley on a most excellent launch. In her first day, she has reached best seller status having the number #1 book overall in the LGBT Sci Fi genre.
We would like to thank all those who have purchased the book and aiding Heather's success. Hopefully when you finish this wonderful work you will be so kind as to leave a review on Amazon as well.
